Mugi woke up once more, screaming. SOMETHING WAS EATING HIS NECK. Without even looking at the normal girl next to him, Mugi snatched up a leaf from his pouch and smashed it to his brow, disappearing in a puff of smoke.
When the smoke cleared, Mugi was replaced with a small tanuki dog, which ran crazily towards the school entrance.

Shiro glanced around, quite bored, when suddenly he had the feeling that something unpleasant was right behind him. He turned around to see a bakeneko ready to pounce upon him.
"Argh," Shiro screamed, trying to dodge the cat's attack. "Bakaneko (<== On purpose). D-don't jump on me!"
Tsucchan decided to take this as a cue to excuse herself from Shiro's torn sweater shoulder and fluttered rapidly in Ikuto's face. Golden feathers flew from her wings.

Ryu continued to look at them all and then noticed the headmaster was finally here, and opening the gates."Students, go to the office to get your schedules and things and then report to the auditorium for a meeting..."the headmaster said before disappearing.
The black haired girl looked at the rest of the students boredly before she began to walk through the gates and up the HUGE STAIRS THAT SEEMED TO NEVER END. "Come on guys..."

Mugi the little tanuki dog charged up the stairs and straight to his destination. Being an agile little mammal, it was no problem for him.
After a quick stop to the office to get his schedule, agenda book, and notices, he barreled back down the staircase and to the auditorium. He had to quickly pause and look at the map, but after that, he got there in no time.

Surprised by the golden bird's attack, ikuto stopped short his pounce and landed face first onto the hard floor. " AWWWWWW... OWIE....SHIRO-KUN~" he whined "Don't be so mean~" he got off the ground and glared at the bird. Golden feathers were attached to his silver hair. "I swear, I'll murder you're bird, Shiro."

(I got a little confused because all our characters are not together and yet Ryu is observing them all....As well as not all of the students can hear the head master if he just says his announcement unless it's over the intercom.)
Sana was actually startled by the sudden transformation of a tanuki before it ran off and wanted to actually get frustrated at it before she looked down at her watch and noticed the time, getting up on her legs and running into the school as quickly as possible, looking for the office.
"If you have yet to encounter the headmaster, come to the office to pick up your schedules and maps and what...ever I have right next to me... Just get your buts over her and then head for the auditorium for the opening ceremony." A voice spoke over through the intercom.
Sanae quickly pushed the door to the office open and was surprised to see multiple girls gathered up in the room, and even some pushing her in.
"How many times do I have to tell you, you go through this hallway, and turn there, and then there's the auditorium!" Shigeru had an anger mark on the side of his head, pointing at a map in the hands of a girls who's eyes were shaped like hearts. "This is the fifth time you asked me. What do you want?" He turned his attention to another girl. He wasn't a student here, more of a student teacher instead, and when he didn't have a period to work in a classroom, then he was aiding the office, and right now...the whole office left him to take care of passing out schedules, to over a thousand students, perhaps even two thousands or three or even four or five, and to help thousands of students find their way around the large school. "Yeah, no, this is where you'll find the math department, yeah. History, hmm...over here...I don't know if Kurokawa's still here...I heard he got the pink slip last year, I'm not sure if he was recalled." He didn't mind working in the office or even here or having tentacles wrap around him, but what ticked him off most was dumb girls/people or girls/people who act like they're dumb. "Dude, you've been here so many times already, how can you not know?" Yeah... "Yeah, when you grow up a little and mature a bit, then I'll consider being of service."
Sanae was staring, or trying to stare as she stood up on her tip toes until she was pushed over by some girl and her thick wavy locks. "O-oppa...!" Seeu stared with stars in her eyes as she stared at Shigeru, holding her hands in a clasp in front of her chest, feeling breath-taken. She was a little taller than the average girls so...and it was a good thing she wore three inched heels too. She tried to push her way through to get her chance to talk to him or be seen by him rather than get her things.
"You guys, can you just take your stuff and then leave!" Shigeru was about to burst with curses. "The opening ceremony will begin shortly!"

Ryu boredly continued ot walk up the stairs til she got tired and started to run as fast as she could, since she was half vampire.
Once she got up the stairs she made her way to the office for her schedule.

"I have to be mean," Shiro insisted, putting distance between himself and the kitty man. "You practically kill me every single time we meet."
Almost pouting, Shiro held out his arm, allowing Tsubami to roost on his forearm. He held her close to his face, and she nuzzled his cheek with her beak.
"Good job," praised the white-haired boy, smiling gently. He turned back to Ikuto with a scowl. "And don't touch Tsucchan. It was your fault for jumping me. Why don't we walk to homeroom like normal human bei-- I mean... Normal. Civilized. Uh, things."

(There's something really aggravating about having someone that is part human and part a whole bunch of other things that shouldn't even exist together in a human unless you were a god or an utterly perfectsuebeing just thought I'd put that out there...) (Also a side note, you called Ryu HALF vampire. I don't suppose she's half of everything else as well?) Character: Akine Wataru Species: Swallow +Anima Age: Looks eight but he's sixteen. Character: Miisha Species: Ikiryou (not really a species, but a ghost-like manifestation) Age: ajdgfjskdajhdhsdhakehhd years old. Actually no one knows. Will post something better when I get on the computer...

((Oh my god, +Anima. I loved the idea, not the manga itself. But feafgagea the idea of a human turning into part animal when needed. YES.))
((I made a guess. Okay, so a human did a demon. A demon-human was born and did an angel, because it now is somewhat special enough to meet one, yeah? Then the fourth demon, fourth human, half angel mix did a werewolf. Now there's half of werewolf, fourth of angel, an eighth of human, then an eighth of demon. Lastly, the strange being did a vampire.
That way, the vampire contributes its half of its alleles, making her half vampire. The funny monster thing gave its half of alleles, including a fourth of a werewolf, an eight of an angel, a sixteenth of a human, and a sixteenth of a demon. Now let me make sure that adds up..
8/16(vamp) + 4/16(were) + 2/16(angel) + 1/16(demon) + 1/16(human) = 16/16 PERFECT. w
Of course, the angel, human, and demon parts are interchangeable. She said she was half vampire, so she has to keep that part, and she has a wolf ears and tail, making her more werewolf than the rest. Of course, the humanoid part is the adding of the demon, angel, and human. Those creatures are all humanoid.
I DOES make sense, though. Red eyes, black hair, pale skin, and a frail frame. Sounds pretty vampiric. The wolf attributes (but not too much) make it seem like she has a bit of werewolf added in her.
Also, it's not too hard to imagine them interbreeding. Vampires and werewolves are created from the infection of humans, so they have the same amount of chromosomes, most likely. Demons and angels are EXTREMELY similar to humans, so maybe they do to.
So my conclusion after the birth of Ryu is that, in fact, vampires, werewolves, angels, human, and demons are NOT separate species. If I recall from Biology, animals of the same species can breed, while others cannot. They create infertile offspring.
Unless Ryu is infertile, these creatures are in fact, the same species, just of different types. Amazing. So, hopefully, most of the misunderstandings/inconsistencies have been cleared. Maybe we have learned a thing or two as well. PFFT. WHY AM I ANALYZING THIS SO MUCH. I'M SUCH A LOSER.))

(Haha. I don't think she put it in a smarter way. I think it's more like you didn't think things through and Steph made it up for you.)
Shiro ran off to homeroom before he realized no one was there. Then he remember the entrance ceremony. Duh. He ran off toward the auditorium.
By the time he entered, the principal was already talking in the microphone, giving a welcoming speech. The bored students in the back whipped around, staring at Shiro as he interrupted. The principal ignored the commotion and kept speaking.
Shiro quietly made his way to the back of the crowd and took a seat in the plastic chairs. He pretended to be listening as the principal gave a lengthy speech.
To sum it up, he was saying that the point of this monster school was to teach monsters to co-exist with humans. They would have to keep human forms at all times, or lose marks. In classes, they would learn like humans. And out of class, they would behave like humans.
He also mentioned dorm rooms--two people for every room, same genders. They would find out their rooms in homeroom, as well as receive their schedules and agendas.

Wataru listened to the principal's droning in a half doze during the entrance ceremony. It's not as though there was anything new he needed to hear - co-exist with humans, act human, and keep human forms at all times. Basically, hide the fact that you were not human.
It's not like I CHOSE to be a +Anima, he said defiantly in his head. At the thought, his upper arms tingled where the +Anima brands were set on his skin.
It had happened seven years ago. He could only dimly remember events that had happened on that day, but he remembered a few things very clearly. Wandering away from the village to play in the woods. Playing dangerously close to the edge of a cliff that dropped down to more forest below. Chasing fast, flitting birds as they skimmed just above the grass. He remembered tripping at some point, and not feeling solid ground beneath him, only air that whistled about him as he screamed in terror...
He nearly released his wings in reaction to the memory in his head. Wataru shifted uncomfortably in his seat and fixed his eyes on the principal up front, but his mind was elsewhere. He heard murmuring behind him, and glanced over his shoulder to see a youth with shocking silver hair walk in late into the ceremony. Then his mind drifted once again.
Falling through the air that fateful day, he had thought he was going to die. But he didn't. Instead of dying, a swallow gave him wings, and he landed safely in the trees below.
Yet the moment he landed, Wataru, only a boy of nine years, knew that he could never go back home again. A +Anima was not welcome among humans - the only thing that would greet him if he went back home was slavery, or death.
"...at your home rooms you will receive your dorm room, your schedule and an agenda for you to use for the year..."
Wataru sighed and rubbed his hand across his eyes. A high, young girl's voice chirped beside him, "Are you paying attention to the principal, Wata-kun?"
"Ssshhhh," he hissed at the ikiryou perched on the chair beside him. "And are you sure you wanna call me Wata-kun? That's a little... odd, don't you think?"
Miisha turned to him and pouted childishly. She stuck out her tongue and twirled a finger through her flouncy orange curls. "It's not like anyone can hear me. I'm choosing not to let anyone sense or notice me, just you!"
"Then please be quiet so I can listen," Wataru breathed back to her, feeling a little more forgiving, as she kept his mind off old memories. Wataru sighed once again and shifted his attention to the principal ahead.

Ikuto pouted and watched Shiro walk away. He shrugged and strolled away towards the auditorium. And unlike a civilized person, he entered through the windows, not the door. He watched the students and the principal and started making observations.
