Rin smiled at Miku.
"Don't worry! I won't forget!"
She gave a little bow to Miku.
"Till tomorrow! Night!" She left the small apartment of Miku's and walked back to her own, two doors down. She had a slightly smaller one split with Len. She entered her door and went to her bed. She couldn't wait till tomorrow. She got ready for bread, and sang a couple scales. Her head was spinning about a duet with Miku, her idol. She smiled and turned off the lights.
"Night Len!" She rolled over.
"sleep tight" she whispered to no-one, and fell asleep, still clutching the piece of paper.

Miku sighed. Looked like Rin was asleep my now.
But there was something in her heart hurting.
It wasn't about Rin, or Len, or anyone like that.
Someone in peculiar...
"I think... I'm in love.." Miku whispered before going to bed.

Miku's eyes opened like the phone was her alarm.
"What...?"
It was late morning, and unlike usual, Miku was tired. Like oh my gosh tired.
"Oh its my phone!"
Miku reached for her little cell phone, the color of her hair with a little negi cell phone charm.
"Hello?"

"Hey? Miku? It's me, Rin. I'm calling about making some plans to do our duet." She was really nervous. What if Miku forgot, or no longer wanted to sing with her. She clutched the yellow phone to her ear tightly.
"Do you have any input on it?" She asked in a soft voice.
"You can come over if you want, Len's not home so...that might work!" She suggested, sitting on her bed.
"I'm free...well, relatively free..." Rin went on, babbling a bit.
"Okay, what I'm trying to say is, wanna come to my apartment?"

Miku looked at the wall clock
"Sure. It's 11:42 right now, so I'll be by at 12:30."
Miku stared at her closet. It was pitiful.
"Oh man! I forgot to do laundry" Miku whispered.
"Bye~"
She hung up and just slipped on a hoodie with jeans. No need to wear her fancy apparel.

Rin smiled. Great. This would be so much fun! She hung up and grabbed some clothes. She took a quick shower, feeling safe as the warm water caressed her. She finished up and dried off. She changed into skinny jeans and threw on a hoodie vest over a plain white shirt. She picked her bow back up and put it in her hair, and then looked at her reflection.
"Hi! How are you? You think? Thanks!" She said, to her reflection, giggling and leaving the steamy bathroom. She entered the kitchen and grabbed an orange. She peeled and ate it, loving the zesty scent it released. She looked at the clock. 12:00. She suddenly felt nervous. "calm down Rin...It'll be okay!"

-12:10- Miku glanced at the clock. “Oh, its 12:10” Miku started to text Rin. 'meet u at da recording studio' There. Done. Miku slipped on a pair of red nikes before leaving. As she was leaving, being too excited, she forgot to lock her door. Rin felt her phone vibrate.
"Oh...new message."
meet u at da recording studio
"Sure...I wonder when Len will be back..."
She sent him a message, and grabbed her bag, ready to leave.
She grabbed her coat and left, the door closed, but unlocked. She set off at a brisk pace down the sidewalk...humming to herself.
