-Back at the Hospital-
Taito learned quite a bit of facts from Ryu's conversations. Apparently Ryu's parents were, "Murderers and the worst criminals ever." Did they kill babies or something? Maybe they blew up a town.
He noticed Ryu had started crying and was covering her ears. Maybe her family had done something bad to her in the past. Taito secretly prayed that it wasn't sexual abuse. The last thing he needed was a therapy patient under his care.
"Uh... Right, so as you can see..." Taito began awkwardly, "She's um, beaten up and uh, needs hospital care." He didn't really bother specify. He was sure the receptionist would do the rest of the work.

The receptionest nodded. Two doctors came and put her in a strethcher. Ryu of course struggled. But finally they calmed her down. But she grabbed Taito. So he was pulled all the way to her room by force. She was then place in a comfy white bed. She looked at Taito. "You remind me of...",she said trailing off. She sighed. She wouldn't tell him. Unless he asked.

Taito sighed as he sat next to the bed on a stool he had dragged over. Ryu had dragged him quite the distance. Taito sighed once more as he recalled the earlier events.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Ryu was being pulled off in her stretcher, she had reached out and snatched one of Taito's bandages that happened to be hanging around his neck.
"OH NONONONONO!!!" He cried, as the bandage tightened around his throat. In a desperate attempt to prevent himself from choking, Taito had clumsily stumbled after the doctors and Ryu, almost falling over at least 5 times.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taito loosened the bandage around his neck. Just thinking of that made his trachea feel strained. Ugh. He thought he was going to die back there.
Taito didn't like to ask or be asked questions, but what DID he remind Ryu of? Taito opened his mouth to ask, but changed his mind and closed it again. Maybe he should wait until later.
Suddenly, the nurse entered the room. The nurse had short, curly brown hair and was rather chubby. Her eyebrows had the shape that made her look as if she were looking down on you with some sort of disdain. Her name tag read: "Mindy". Not that that any of this information was important, though. She looked quite calm as she examined Ryu.
"What happened to you? Did you get hit by a truck or something?" The nurse wrinkled her nose. Mindy didn't bother to wait for an answer to her question and pulled sterile napkins or sponges of some sort from the utility shelf on the side of the room.
She turned back to her patient and walked over with a brisk pace. Without wasting time, the nurse began to clean out and scrub the dirt and blood from the wounds all over Ryu's body. The nurse didn't bother to be gentle on the cuts. The young teen whimpered in pain.
"It's all right, hon," Mindy said. "If it hurts, it means you're still alive." Then she whistled in awe at the amount of deeper gashes that she found.
"Hey, when you finish getting your stitches, you're going to look like your brother for a bit." The nurse chuckled to herself at her own joke, but continued to scrub with vigor and speed.
Taito didn't say anything and watched the maid do her work. He WAS covered in bandages, so there was nothing to be offended about anyways. All he was worried about was the blood. By God, there was a lot. How did a human being contain so much fluid anyways? Maybe Ryu would look like a prune after this. Hehehe, like an old lady.
Taito shook himself out of his thoughts. "Umm... Mindy-san, how many stitches is she going to get?"
Mindy shook her head. "I wouldn't know. Much more than one could count, hon." She finished her job and began to leave the room. "You wait there for a bit. The doctor will be there shortly to stitch you all up nice and good, okay hon?" Then she turned and disappeared behind the door frame.
Taito sat back and crossed his arms. He looked at Ryu and wondered if she would be able to handle getting the stitches. They had to inject needles to numb the cells around the wound, he knew. That would mean getting them all over her body. Ouch. Taito began to lose himself in his thoughts.
What would happen once Ryu got all of her stitches, anyways? She'd probably have to rest at the hospital for a few days. Taito could pay for the hospital bill. There was no problem there. But wait....
Wouldn't they question how she got hurt, though? And they knew that she lived alone and had murderers for parents. The court might take her away and try to send to a foster home far away from Japan. Why was Taito caring anyways? Didn't he hate kids? It should have been good riddance, but...
Taito was soon jerked out of his thoughts when Ryu said, "Hey." He had almost forgotten that she was right there in the bed.
(HOLY SHOOT, THIS IS A LOOOOOONG POST!)

Ryu looked at Taito."Taito...Can you sing?...for me?",she asked unsure if he would. I mean she thought he wouldn't cause she was such a pain. So she decided not to see his expression by looking the other way.
She couldn't bear it if another person hated her. She then got an idea. She sat up wincing. She grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a song. It was sad and explained how she was feeling.

Taito panicked. He didn't want sing anything a 13 year old wrote. It would probably be like the next Friday. Taito shuddered at the thought.
Taito gingerly took the sheet out of Ryu's hands and examined it. Because no hospital would ever have a musical score sheet ready beside one's bed, there were only lyrics and no notes. There were no lines and Ryu had to write on her own lap, so the writing was messy and the lines ran into each other. How the hell was Taito supposed to sing this?
Since there was no technical tune, Taito winced. It WAS the next Friday. Desperate to get out of the situation of just rapping and not actually singing, Taito racked his brains for a true lullaby.
The first song that came to his mind was Fear Garden. What the hell? Of all songs? That was not healthy.
Last Night Good Night? Well, it DID have "good night" in the title.
"Um, suya suya..." And so it began. With excrutiating high notes and all.

((Yeah I did...auctually...))
Ryu smiled. She loved Fear Garden. It helped her think and to sleep. Soon she found her self drifting off to sleep at the sound of Taito singing. She looked so peaceful. If it weren't for the fact she clutched her pencil like a knife and she was looking like an insane murderor in her sleep.

(Well, some parts don't match up. Taito never SAID that he hated HER. It was in his mind. And also, if you include things that happened during chat, no one else would get it D:)
Taito stared at Ryu for an awkward second. Her smile reminded hijm of a pedophile pervert. Maybe she was having dirty dreams. Either way, that huge and creepy grin kind of creeped Taito out.
And the pen in her hand had somehow transformed into a pencil. How did that happen? Why was Ryu clutching the pencil like a knife? Silly girl. People STABBED people with pencils, not sliced them. He'd have to correct her when she woke up.
Because he wasn't thinking, Taito messed up a few words and his voiced cracked at a note. Oops. Hopefully Ryu wasn't listening.

Ryu continued to listen in her sleep. She was happy. She let go of the object in her hand. In her mnd she wondered when the doctors would come. But she didn't care. Fear garden was on her mind. She was peaceful and happy.

Taito finished Last Night Good Night. Fuck. What now?
The doctor came in (saved by the bell!) and walked over to the sleeping Ryu. He sighed, pulled a needle out from the side cabinet, got it ready and....
Stabbed it around one of Ryu's wounds.
Taito winced as Ryu's eyes flew open.

Ryu tried not to scream."I AM GONNA KILL YOU! TRY TO SURPRIZE ME AGAIN! I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU!",she screamed clearly in pain. She was holding back the tears. She hated the doctors. She really did think they were going to kill her.

"Sorry little girl. I'll give you a lollipop afterwards, okay?" The doctor said sweetly. He scratched at his bald head and adjusted his glasses. "Can you hold still so I can stitch you up nicely?" Man, that baby-talk was annoying. Was he taunting Ryu or something? Taito stepped back away from the doctor. If Ryu started killing him now, he would get some blood on him. NOT what he needed at the moment. (Please don't kill him for real, Ryu. He's innocent.) The doctor, by the way his name-tag said "Jim," stabbed the needle around the wound some more. After a while, Ryu's pain began to numb, and she couldn't feel a thing around that area. Taito held her hand just in case she needed to squeeze. It would be better than have her strangle poor Jim and go to jail. Jim took out a needle and began sewing the wound close. Taito watched in fascination. Ryu didn't feel a thing of this, of course. (You know, this was cool and all, but Ryu's gonna have to take like 50 more shots to sew all of those gashes close. )

Ryu sighed and smiled slightly at the warmth of Taito's hand. But before she started to calm down she stabbed the doctor in the arm and someblood got on Taito."Baby-talk me again I WILL kill you...",growled. Then she calmed down. Taito's hand made her feel alot better. She had squeezed lightly. She hated being touched by doctors. They creeped her out.

Jim looked freaked. He ran from the room, clutching his wound. There was no way he was going to operate on a violent freak.
Taito sighed. Who was brave enough to operate on the poor girl now? He continued to hold Ryu's hand and stroked her hair to try and calm her nerves. Despite looking sweet and docile at the moment, she had just assaulted a doctor and was probably not feeling well. And obviously she was going to be in trouble after this.
A few minutes later, a woman walked in. She pushed her straight blond hair behind her ear and looked extremely nervous. Her knees were shaking. Her name tag read, "Sandra." What was with these generic names?
"Um...I'm going to try uh.... stitching you..okay?" the lady played with a strand of hair absentmindedly. Then she muttered under her breath, "She really IS a Hanuna... Like parent like child..."
Taito heard this and prayed that the small little teen in the bed next to him hadn't heard a word. That last thing he needed was a doctor with a pen in her throat and doctors sedating Ryu and dragging her to a mental hospital.
Taking her to a normal hospital was hard enough. Taito stroked Ryu's hair once more. Why was he doing this? It made him feel like some middle-aged father...

Ryu looked at the doctor. She noticed that 'Sandra' was nervous. She ought to be. The teen had also calmed down alot more because of Taito. She was alittle calm and happy.
Ryu had also heard the comment 'Sandra' had made. She sighed."Listen up...I probably won't hurt you if you listen...I don't want to be a Hanuna...I never asked for this ok...so if you say I am like my family again...I don't know what I would do. You better be glad Taito is here or else you probably...never mind...Also I am more like Taito here than anyone...and I admit I have anger issues and I am also bratty...So I try to let you operate on me...But please don't mention my family...",she said calmly.
She noticed 'Sandra' had nodded and looked a bit more calm aswell. But she still looked kind of nervous."Don't leave me Taito...",she whispered. She hoped no one had heard her but maybe Taito had...She needs to stop doing those kind of things. She sighed and looked the other way. Out of fear Taito heard her.

Oh sorry, Ryu. Taito heard it. He TOTALLY heard it. He was paying attention to Ryu anyways, so... yeah. Taito clutched her hand and sighed. "I'm not going anywhere." (To help you understand, Ryu, I have been to the hospital for stitches before. They will not ship you off to an operating room, but maybe in this case, they might have to. Anyways, they stick a needle that numbs the cells around the wound and stitch it closed. I stayed with my father the whole time. ) Sandra examined Ryu and Taito. She guessed that the two DID seem alike to each other. But the Hanunas were known to strike people whenever they saw fit or were upset about a person. She still felt that this girl was like her family, whether she liked it or not. Sandra didn't say it out loud, though, for her own safety. Instead, she got to work and stabbed the needle around a cut on Ryu's thigh. The faster this was done, the better.
