Len skipped happily around his home. Today he was going to host a Christmas party. Sure, it wasn't just Christmas yet, nor was Christmas a big holiday in Japan, he really wanted to throw a fancy party. But it wasn't just any type of party, it was a winter costume party.
He waltzed around, hanging up all sorts of decorations. He was dressed in completely green, like a little elf. He just hoped people wouldn't call him short or anything.
Len stepped up on a ladder to hang a few bits and pieces of golden garland and mistletoe. He had managed to get Rin to accept the idea, so they were able to host it at their place. The Kagamine's residence seemed totally christmas-y now.
He walked over to a table, which was covered in a red and white tablecloth. He began going from the kitchen to the table, placing snacks and other miscellaneous junk. He checked off each item, punch, cookies, chips, and other dumb crap he managed to find at the store. Everything was settled perfectly!
The thing that made him so excited, was that this was his first party he'd ever hosted. Len also really loved things with a theme. This theme was of course Costumes and winter. He hoped to see all of the people come in with neat-o costumes and such.
Len at least hoped they would come. Besides, who wouldn't want to come to a 14 year old's end of the year Christmas party? Maybe they had other things to do. He looked up at the time, which was plastered onto a digital clock, which sat above on their television. It was already ten minutes pass the time he had said to come. Was nobody going to arrive?
He sighed, sitting over in a chair. Len nibbled on a cookie, waiting. What if nobody had come? The question was repeating in his head. Over and over.
DAMN THEY BETTER.
Len began to hum a tune. He'd spent 4 hours setting everything up. And the 2 hours on setting up the tree? He almost knocked the whole thing over.
He also wondered if Rin was going to attend as well. She seemed like she had a busy schedule.
Len shook his head, and tried not to fret. He could always party with himself! ((//FOREVERALONE)) The doorbell rang. He immediately got up, flinging the door open. He spotted a very tall pink-haired male, and a girl with black pig-tails. TWOGUESTS!! He gave a wide hospitable smile, "Come on in!"
"Wow, you really did decorate this place up didn't you? I love the--" The black-haired girl began to chatter on about how nice the decorations were, much to Len's happiness. She was dressed with a couple of reindeer horns on. To Len's greatest opinion, he couldn't really look at her seriously. A rather pimply reindeer, indeed.
The pink-haired male, who was old as hell, seemed to be wearing all white. Snowy and interesting! Len liked it, but felt nervous being near the older male. "Thank you for coming," He said to the two of them.
He waited for every body else, a smile smeared stupidly on his face.
[[So yeah, I know it isn't Christmas yet, but Haku suggested it and I totally felt like writing. SO HERE YOU GO. LOL. Have your character(s) come in with some derpy winter-ish costume. BD]]

"CHRIST-MAS PAR-TY CHRIST-MAS PAR-TY!"
Miisha skipped happily along the sidewalk with Katsuo trailing beside her, her pigtails bouncing up and down as she whooped happily. Miisha was dressed in a red short sleeve shirt with white fluff around the collar, and a red skirt rimmed with more white fluff. She still wore her favourite orange scarf and her stockings, but she had little red winter boots on, with big white pompoms at the ends of the boot strings. Keeping up her vibrant and full orange curls were hair ties adorned with holly.
As for Katsuo, dressing himself up had been a bit of a challenge, for his deep blue eyes and blue hair did not look as good in red. Katsuo merely wore his hankerchief as a scarf and was dressed in a pale blue coat with a few little snowflake designs here and there. His headphone set had been replaced by blue earmuffs, which were extremely comfy to Katsuo, if not a bit debilitating as they impaired his hearing.
Katsuo chuckled, "Now, now, Miisha-chan, it's not really a 'Christmas' party, more like a 'winter' party with some Christmas themes to it."
The younger girl giggled. "Oh well! It's still a PAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" She jumped up and down, causing the holly placed on her hairties to fall off. She stopped and picked it up, quickly sticking them back into their place. She grinned foolishly. "Heehee! Oops."
The pair arrived at the Kagamine's home and knocked solidly on the door. Miisha was focused on the door, squirming impatiently as she waited for it to open, while Katsuo took in the sights of the decorated home. The lights, the ornaments - they made Katsuo feel warm and tingly inside. "Now if only it snowed, it would be more fitting," he murmured to himself.
(I LOVE THIS IDEA LEN. I LOVE YOU <3)

"ALRIGHT, HOW DO I LOOK?!" Yuki screamed out, not bothering to use what Taito always told her was, 'an indoor voice'. The reprimander in question was slumped on a chair, sipping hot chocolate. Meanwhile, her buddy(but only Level Three) with green hair, Mugi, clapped his hands and gave a thumbs-up.
"Snow fairy! Fits you perfectly!" He grinned widely. "You're totally ready for the Christmas party! You'll blow them all away!"
Taito took another sip and rolled his eyes. "It's not even Christmas yet. The host couldn't even wait for the right day."
Mugi ignored Mr. Cynical and hopped over to Yuki. "Don't forget your wand, Queen-sama. Actually, FAIRY Queen-sama." He handed over a black slender stick with a flimsy paper snowflake on it. Just for fun, he even bowed onto one knee and held the wand horizontally, like presenting a sword.
Yuki giggled and accepted her 'offering'. She swung the wand experimentally and then hopped a bit in excitement. Then she ran to the mirror. She had a powder blue dress with white snowflakes adorning the outside. There was glitter all over it as well to give more of a 'magical' effect. Yuki still had pigtails, but she replaced the red orbs with blue ones, and the elastic was covered in fluffy white material.
Yuki giggled once more and brushed her bangs from her eyes with her glove-covered hand. Then she turned back to her small audience. If you could call it an audience.
Mugi sat on the bed. "I never actually thought AT ALL what I was going to wear."
Yuki gasped. "It's already time to go! You don't have ANYTHING?"
"Nothing."
"We have to improvise!"
Taito sighed. "You should have, I don't know, PREPARED for this."
"Shut up and help us."
Unable to disobey his Queen, Taito stood up and looked around. "So, what do we do? Give him a raindeer horn and send him on his way? Roll him up in snow and say that he's a snowman?"
Yuki made a face and shook her head vigorously. "No, no, NO. You are thinking way to CONVERSATIONAL."
"Conventional."
"SHUT UP."
Mugi frowned. "But we have, like no time, Heck, negative time. We HAVE to do the non-creative."
Yuki pouted, but agreed. "Okay, then. Let's go ask my seamstress. Nakamura-san."
__________________________________________________________________________
Mugi was pushed this way and that, measuring tape pulled around him pulled up, down, left, right.
After a few minutes, the seamstress ran out and back in with a costume. "Here, I already had one made. It's an elf."
"Wait, then what was the measuring for?"
"For show. I wanted to look like those Disney movies."
"Goddangit, give me that." Mugi snatched the elf costume and left to change. In a few minutes, he walked out again.
"Ya know, when you said ELF, I thought you meant like, Santa's helpers. Not like, Lord of the Rings." Mugi adjusted his fake pointy ears and tugged at the long cloak that draped over his shoulders. He shifted his leathered boots and green tunic. Then he played with the silver brooch of a leaf.
"This isn't Christmas-y at all."
But Nakamura ignored him and dove straight for Taito. "YOUR TURN."
"WAIT, HOLD ON, I'M NOT GOING." Taito spun out of her grasp and retreated to the other side of the room.
Yuki grinned and pointed her finger directly at Taito. "Yes, you are! I order it."
"Talk about abusing your powers," Taito growled in reply. But he left his hidey-corner and walked over back to the trio. "So, what are you going to dress me up as? A dwarf? A wizard? A hobbit-oof!"
Nakamura punched him in the gut and handed him Santa hat.
"That's IT?"
"You don't deserve anything else, buddy!"
"The host will be really angry when they see how half-assed I-"
"Let's GO!" Yuki dragged Mugi and Taito outside and towards the party.

"Bother, oh bother, not again!"
For what seemed like the 50th time, Wataru stopped walking and yanked off his red cap. He peered at his reflection using the nearest window as a mirror and ran his hand through his hair, making sure it was as neat as its unevenness could possibly allow. He licked his finger and pinched his ahoge slightly, just to make it stand up a bit more.
"Hm..." Peering at his reflection made Wataru feel slightly self-conscious. He was not very good with dressing up, and he did not want to exclude his purple cape merely for the sake of good colour coordination. He had found a red cap and plopped a few bells on its rim. He wore it slightly askew so that his ahoge could still poke out on the other side. As for clothing, he slapped together a pine green t-shirt with a pale brown long-sleeve underneath. He wore red pants and brown boots. Finally as a finishing touch, he wore mistletoe on the front of his cape so he could kiss every girl he saw at the party.
I'm sure they'll find me charming! Or cute, at least, Wataru thought giddily. In fact, he looked more like a patchwork Christmas quilt, but that didn't matter to him. He shrugged and continued to walk to the address of the Kagamine's home.
And who knew? Maybe he would meet some new people at the party. He and his brother had just moved in, so they didn't know too many people yet. Wataru had brought his bag as well, with a few important things inside, including his flute and harmonica. Who knew? Maybe some people there knew some Christmas songs to sing. And he would accompany them with his instruments, and there would be delicious food, a toasty fire, maybe it would snow...

Ryu took a deep sigh, why had she agreed to come anyway. She could deal with parties. But seriously, did it have to be a costume party? What the heck was she going to wear anyway? Oh wait. Neru bought something for her, Ritsu and Ryu to wear. The black haired girl sighed and put on the white short shorts. Neru thought it would be cute if Ryu was a snow woman, Ritsu Santa, and Neru an Elf. How in the world would that work.
Ryu should have been the Elf but what the hay. The young girl sighed and pulled on the white sleeveless shirt, with three big black buttons down the middle. She then pulled on the black arm warmers that started at her elbows and covered her fingers, she sighed and then pulled up the black thigh socks that went with her outfit. She then pulled on a white hat and put on white boots. She was done, kind of. Now she had to go get her scarf from Neru. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Neru was smiling, she was almost done with her elf costume. She had on a green dress, with no straps, with a red belt. She also had her long blond hair down, and a red and green hat on. She was now putting on her white thigh socks since her dress stopped at mid thigh. She had red and green pointed boots off to the side, she was glad there was a Christmas party. She loved dress herseff up and others.
Neru then pulled on her knee high boots, and looked at herself, she was missing something, oh yeah her gloves and ears, she then picked up her white gloves and pulled them up to her shoulder and then put on her fake elf ears. She was nearly done, all she had to do now was to give Ryu her red scarf.
At that moment Ryu came in glaring, the blonde smiled at her and then wrapped the red scarf around the girl, like a snow man's. Now they had to check up on Ritsu. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ritsu was just now pulling out her costume and smiling at it. She took the dress out first and pulled it over her head, it stopped mid-thigh if you counted the white fuz. Then she smoothed the dress out and wrapped the black belt around her waist, and pulled on some white fishnet tights and her black knee high boots, that had heels.
The blonde sighed and then tucked her hair in her hat and let her bangs show, and then she wrapped a white scarf fuz thing over her shoulders, with a red shall. Just at that precise moment when she had started to pull up her black elbow gloves, Neru and Ryu came in, either smiling or scowling.
"You ready?,"Neru asked and Ritsu nodded and smiled at their outifts."You look good Ri-chan...,"she added winking and Ritsu nodded and winked back.
Ryu didn't get it and just sighed as she grabbed a black bag for Neru and Ritsu and walked outside and got into Ritsu's car. Then Neru and Ritsu climbed in and they drove to Kagamine House and then got out the car and went over to the people who were knocking on the door.
Ritsu and Neru were excited, Ryu not so much.

Akaito managed to scrape together enough money to buy a sexy Santa costume. He knocked at Luka's door, were Haku and Luka would be getting ready and waited. Haku opened the door with a frown, she stared at Akaito sadly. "Luka is sick..." she said.
"Shoot, are you still coming?" he asked. "Yeah, but I will try to be unnoticed. I haven't worn this since my days of being a stripper." she replied.(lol read my self rp to understand) Akaito shrugged and Haku came out of Luka's apartment wearing an elf costume, Luka was going to be a reindeer but she got sick.
"Akaito-kun! You left me alone outside!" Aoki hollered while running to him. Akaito facepalmed and looked to Haku, who was wondering who was that sugar plum FAIRY(lol). "Sorry Lapis-sama." he replied. They all walked out the building and towards the Kagamine residence. Aoki was pretty excited about going to a party, it was time for her to be matchmaker.
Akaito didn't bother to ring the doorbell and invited himself in and looked around. Aoki ran in like a maniac, and Haku ran in looking for booze. He entered the home, scouting for Len.
LAWLZ... Koe was actually the first guest but Len didn't notice her. She was dressed as a penguin.

Rin walked out of her bedroom and into the kitchen. "Len? What time is the party start-" She started to ask, looking through her phone and hearing the buzz of conversation. She was shocked it was so busy. "Oh...looks like it started!" She replied, hesitantly checking she had indeed dressed in something not embarrassing. She slipped back into her room and stood before the mirror. Lucky, she was wearing something holiday themed. Thank goodness that Crypton (c) had them do a holiday shoot that day! She ran her red gloved hands down the velvety fabric of her dress (it was the same length as her shorts) and the edge had a white faux fur lining. She slipped on her red (white edged as well) leg warmers over her thigh high dark socks and fastened the yellow bows on the sides, they matched the ones on her gloves to a pair! She tightened the christmasy shawl ((if you guessed the same design as the others, you'd be right! sensing a pattern?)) and fastened the yellow ribbon there, and lay the pompoms flat across her (equally flat) chest, admiring the crisscrossy pattern on the front (it was a tank top). She slipped the santa hat on over her blond hair and flicked the yellow ribbon, ready. She opened her door and joined the party. "Len! You did such a great job!" She had helped with some of it, but Len did the bulk. ________ Gumi knocked on the door, fidgeting with her outfit. Her skirt might have been a tad short (however, she reasoned, it was actually the same size as her other one). Her outfit consisted of varying shades of tan. The dress itself had poofy sleeves, and those were lined in frilly white fabric. The dress continued, flowing down into her skirt, also lined in frilly white. Down her center, after the box cut style shirt, were 3 red buttons, which lead to a white apron. She had thigh high candy cane socks on, and a pair of white boots, lined in fur. A green ribbon adorned the edge of her shirt. She smoothed her hair, and continued to wait. Finally the door opened, and Gumi smiled, "Merry Christmas!" She called out. (not to copy, but Rin looks like this...>.> sorry for lack of original design...it was too cute to pass up! >.< imageshack.us/photo/my-images/718/rinchristmaspjd2nd1.jpg/sr=1

Len stood off the the side, fixing up a bit of decoration that had seemingly fell due to faulty misplacement. He began to hear a bit of rumbling at the door, which told him that some more guests have arrived.
The blond boy charged for the door, nearly tripping himself. But he noticed Rin had already done the duties of keeping the door managed. He gave her a quick hug, then went off to do other such things. The room was starting to get filled with all of those who were invited.
"So then I reached for the last screw, and I like.. seriously dropped it. I tried to reach for it---" Layla began on a story about how she spent an entire our trying to configure a robot she'd tried to make.
Yuma was listening, but was looking off in another direction, trying to avoid eye contact with the younger girl. He zoned off for a moment, then went over some place else, leaving Lay alone, who was still jabbering off to mainly her self. Heck, she didn't care though. Telling stories to herself was equally as fun!
Len stood beside the table, leaning over just a tad to reach a bag that had fallen. He hesitated as he held it. What did this go to again? He shrugged, and tossed it into the nearest garbage can. He turned, putting on a happy smile. Then he'd forgotten something.
The boy quickly jogged over, turning on the CD player he had sitting in the corner. A chalky noise sputtered out, then came the light Christmas music he had sitting in there. It was a bit quiet, and soft, but not loud enough to be a disruption. The perfect atmosphere.
Len decided to sit down off to the side, and take a quick break.

The group almost reached Len's house. There were lovely glittering decorations outside, making the night seem twinkly and happy. The cold, crisp night was beautiful. It wasn't Christmas yet, but it sure felt like it.
Unfortunately, Taito didn't quite care. He grumpily walked after Yuki and Mugi who were chattering excitedly about the party. When they couldn't contain their excitement anymore, Mugi and Yuki began to charge straight ahead. Taito had to run after them.
And, parental block. Lyme had to go.

Ryu sighed and walked inside as did Ritsu and Neru, they soon disappeared among the guests to mingle. Leaving Ryu bby herself until she saw Yuma and this other girl. Suddenly feeling really happy she ran over to Yuma and gave him a huge hug.
"Yu-kun~!"she said in an excited chirpy voice. She was so glad to see him. She swore she hadn't seen him in forever. She was just so happy now, unbeknowst to her Neru and Ritsu were secretly taking pictures of the two smirking.

Rin had graciously allowed Katsuo and Miisha to enter into the Kagamine's residence, where the two were dazzled and delighted at the wonderful decorations inside. Soft Christmas tunes played in the background, creating a lovely Christmas-esque atmosphere. Just before the door closed behind them, another boy dashed in, dressed in patchwork colours. He nearly crashed into the pair.
"Ah! I'm so sorry!" the boy laughed, flustered as he shut the door behind him. He grinned cheekily and swept his hat off in a flourishing bow. He had choppily cut pale green hair and magenta eyes. "A pleasure to meet you. My name is Akine Wataru! I moved here not too long ago." He knelt before Miisha and gently kissed her hand. "And that is my gift to you, lovely lady with the most vibrant hair I have ever seen!" He then turned to Katsuo and vigorously shook his hand. "I hope to see you around, good sir!" Then he flounced off to introduce himself to the host. He was also raring to become familiar with the ladies at the party.
Miisha was blushing fiercely with a huge stupid smile plastered on her face. "Eeeeee!" she squealed. "H-He kissed me! Wasn't that just cute? He called my hair uh, uh, vibrant! Is that a good thing Katsuo? To have vibrant hair?"
Because of the dopey confused person he is, Katsuo was remarkably tolerant of the stranger's kiss to Miisha. Had the dark green one of the Rainbow Vocaloids, Kirsche, been there, she would've put a permanent red shoe mark on the boy Wataru's face.
"Having vibrant hair is good, Miisha-chan," he replied somewhat absently, for he was rather intrigued by the newcomer's actions. "At least he seemed to be your age...?"
But Miisha was no longer thinking about the kiss. She grabbed Katsuo's hand and dragged him deeper into the house. "Wow! Look at all the decorations! It's so wonderful in here! And, and, look at all the people! Will we have party games? I hope we have party games! Or singing! Christmas singing!"
Katsuo allowed himself to be towed along with Miisha as they wandered through the crowd, hoping to get to know some people along the way.

"Gee, where ARE we?" Yuki looked around and scratched her head.
Most of the buildings looked alike in the dark, covered in twinkling lights and Christmas decorations. The dysfunctional trio were walking aimlessly through Tokyo, searching for the Kagamine residence.
"I could have sworn that we passed by the tree with the funny Santa kitty on it," Mugi mumbled, looking about his surroundings.
Taito sighed and rubbed his temples. "I bet we wouldn't have lost if we didn't run in a random direction."
"Shut up, you old man," Mugi muttered, and started to recount where they came from.
"I'm not even that much older than you-"
"We're heading left!" Mugi ran off and down a random street.
"If we're just going to randomly guess, we're going to get even more lost than before. I don't see why were rushing. That'll just make us MORE late." Taito sighed.
Mugi and Yuki totally ignored his word of advice and continued on their way.
