It was another day, but not any ordinaryu day, some yokai had kidnapped a golden familair bird thing named Tsubami.
An ebony-haired girl named Ryu didn't know this person who it's owner, she was just being her normal self and entering this haunted concert hall, which she didn't know were infected with yokai that wanted to kill a boy named Shiro.
She was wearing an average outfit, a white short sleeve collared button down, black tie, black pleated skirt with shorts on underneath, black sweater, white thigh highs, and black knee high sneakers.
She was only dressed like this cause she had nothing else in her closet, she entered the concert hall and looked around, it had a weird gloomy aura about it. Yah...

"Tsucchan," Shiro called, glancing around uneasily. He scratched his scalp, deep in thought. Where would a bird-yokai like her go?
Shiro peeked around an abandoned concert hall, rumored by many locals to be haunted. The white-haired teenager didn't doubt it--rotting vinyl seats were scattered in the wide room and torn curtains hung around the dirty, broken stage.
"Hello?" He was greeted by his own voice, which bounced off of the grimy walls and echoed back at him.
With a screeching creak, two large doors opened, allowing bright daylight to filter inside. A small figure stood in the open doorway, silhouetted against the well-lit outdoors. Shiro's heart skipped a beat, and he bit his lip, startled.
In order to avoid being spotted, he quietly dove underneath an old seat, carefully waiting and listening.

The doors closed behind Ryu as she looked around."Hello?"she asked looking around. She wondered if anyone was there, with another looked around she walked forward and looked around.
"Anyone here?"she asked stopping for a minute and looking under things, she could smell something...But she couldn't put her finger on it.

Shiro held his breath, lying flat against the hard, wooden floor of the concert hall. The visitor called out timidly: "Hello? Anyone here?"
Although he was half-tempted to scare the girl off by saying something like, "Get ouuut! I liiiive here," Shiro decided to stay put and stay quiet. If the girl didn't run away, then he would have to make up a lame excuse for why he was here all alone and why he was trying to freak her out.
Unfortunately, as Shiro shifted his body slightly, a loud creak sounded from the floorboards. Shiro sucked his breath in and bit his lip. The sound could have been anything, right? Maybe the girl would leave.

Ryu heard the noise and jumped."Eh~! What was that! I know someone is here now! Show yourself creeper!"she cried and then started to look around for a baseball bat that usually was lying around somewhere in a movie..
But unfortunately this wasn't a movie. This was real life. Ryu frowned when she couldn't find one and then turned to where she heard the creaking noise.

There was not another noise in the concert hall. Shiro lay inert; the only sound in his ears were the scuffling and footsteps of the the other person. His chest rose slowly, up and down, up and down. No sudden movements. No more unnecessary noises.
Suddenly there was an itch on his leg. Shiro swore inwardly before slowly reaching his fingers towards his thigh. He slowly raked his fingers along his pants, but the cloth interfered with satisfying the itch.
"This sucks," he thought to himself. "I'm scratching but the damn itch won't go away."
Slowly, slowly, as slow as he could, Shiro rolled his pants leg up. Another creak, this time quieter, squealed from the boards. Shiro paused. More silence. He scratched his leg and pulled his pants back down, feeling sated.
Then, he slid further underneath the seats and proceeded to lay perfectly still, attempting to stay hidden.

Ryu skeptically bent down and looked under the seats and soon saw Shiro and screamed."THERE'S A DEAD MAN HERE!"
She then began to panic and hit her head and winced while panicing.

It was quite amusing watching this kid go insane. Shiro lay still for a few more moments as girl smashed the back of her skull on an armrest. Finally, before she could recover, he rolled out to the other side of the seats and stood up.
The last thing the flaxen-haired teenager wanted was to have to explain to this girl why he was here, so he charged in the opposite direction of the concert hall's entrance.
"Yeah," he said, talking over his shoulder. "I'm dead and I haunt this place so get out."
With that, he disappeared deeper into the dark and rotting hall.

Ryu soon realized he was alive cause she knew dead people couldn't move or talk, they floated and moaned and groaned.
She got curious and followed him."Hey wait!"

"Hey, wait," the girl called after him. Shiro bit his lip. She'd probably caught on.
"Yokai don't wait for humans," he answered, calling over his shoulder. Looking back, he almost crashed into a rotting beam. He side stepped and kept running, already his legs hurting and his breath coming short.
"Damn," he whispered to himself, gasping for air. "I shouldn't have skipped out on physical education so many times."
Mind spinning, Shiro dove turned down a random corridor. It was pitch black, but he continued to forge ahead, praying he wouldn't step on a mouse or crash. Why, oh why did he not get Tsubami's name into the Book? Then he could just summon her...
Shiro crashed. He plowed straight into a heavy door. The door opened, luckily, but that didn't mean it hadn't done a painful number on his face.
"Ow, ow, ow..."
The boy peeked into the room. Light filtered through the grimy windows, barely lighting up the room. There was a large table in the center of the room, and counters lined the walls. The dim room had an eerie aura to it, but Shiro ignored it and slid under the table.
The girl wouldn't have followed him all the way here, right?

Ryu had indeed continued to chase after him, she never skipped Physical Education and was a pretty fast runner, and got inside just intime to see him dash under a table."I saw that!"she yelled and then went to the table.

Shiro crawled out the other end of the table and tossed a folding chair in the way to slow his follower down. Afterwards, he exited the room the same way he came, and re-entered the dark corridor. As he ran, he stayed close to the side feeling the wall with the tips of his fingers.
Within moments, he found another door. Shiro twisted the doorknob and pulled the door open before quietly slipping inside. Should he put a chair under the knob? Shiro reached for a wooden seat, but it came to him that he pulled the door open to enter: using a chair to block it would be useless.
"Shit," he swore, still gasping and panting. Not knowing what else to do, he grabbed the brass doorknob and pulled, hoping to keep the door shut.

Ryu was getting annoyed and then jumped over the chair and chased after him but got lost and ran down some more halls until she came to a door, she then opened it and saw pictures of this golden bird and what seemed like a map, getting creeped out she ran off yelling."AHH THERE'S THESE WEIRD PICS OF A GOLDEN BIRD IN THERE!"she yelled and then ran past the door Shiro was in.

There was silence. Not a single noise. Nothing even tried to pry the door open. Shiro glanced around uncomfortably. Did he lose her?
A sigh of relief fell from Shiro's lips. His heart was still pounding wildly from the unforeseen exercise he'd just undergone. Shiro loosened his grip on the door and sat down on the floor, catching his breath.
When he'd felt that he'd gotten enough rest, he slowly pushed the door open and slithered down the dark hallway. For all he knew, the girl probably had gone home, crying to her mommy. This place was damn freaky.
"Tsucchan," Shiro called again. His voice was quiet and timid. He scowled. What was he afraid for? Clearing his throat, he tried again. "Tsucchan? Where are you?"
There was no reply, but Shiro had half-expected it. He trotted confidently down the corridor, peeking into random rooms, calling for his golden bird familiar. Next chance he got, he was going to get her to sign her name. Looking for her like this was too much of a hassle.

As Ryu was running she wound up running back down the hall and bumping into Shiro. She screamed silently and jumped off him frightened."WHO THE HECK ARE YOU1"she cried.
