(Side RP. Age has no meaning here. WHO CARES IF YOU ROLEPLAY AS SOME 20 YEAR OLD JANITOR? WHO CARES IF YOU ROLEPLAY AS A BABY STILL IN HIS/HER DIAPERS?! JUST MAKE THIS SITE LIVE ONCE MORE. Um, this is a Japanese school system, so it starts in spring. Just saying to end confusions.) Mugi brushed the cherry blossoms from his dark blue uniform jacket and sighed. "Winter.. Where did you go?" Winter break had ended so fast - one moment Mugi remembered eating rice cake and warming his legs under the kotatsu, the next he was heading to school, ready for the orientation. The young student--entering his 2nd year--trudged down the road, letting cherry blossom petals fall upon him, drifting like pink snowflakes. He was prepared to listen to the bald principal drone in his stupid tone of voice and welcome the kids to school. By the time Mugi entered the orientation area, the place was almost full, with lines for each homeroom. Mugi quickly located his homeroom, which was 2-B. He found his spot of the back of the line, and waited for the presentation to begin. Once the whole thing was finished, he head straight home and play his last share of video games before the first real day of school began. Classes and homework. Oh joy. The only thing that kept Mugi from quitting school altogether was the prospect of hanging out with his friends and meeting some cute girls. (Woot. Picture on MS Paint. ) Attachments:

Koe left home from the presentation. -the next day-
Koe hurriedly ran through the halls of her school. Her hair was neatly brushed and her papers all in a stack which she held. Koe stood by the door of her classroom, 2-B, and breathed heavily. Man if she had been late she would have been in the biggest of trouble. Then again, people usually didn't notice her.
She sat down quickly and began writing down something. Even the author wasn't sure what she was writing. Koe saw a sudden flash of bright green flash past her. It bewildered her and suddenly she realized it was one of the other students.

"Hey, you!"
Mugi froze in the hallway as he headed to his classroom. His hair was a mess as usual, and his uniform was crumpled already.
After a moment of hesitation, he answered the call. "Yes?"
A student council member was glaring him down, hands on her hips.
"You can't dye your hair! It's against the dress code."
Oh. Mugi laughed lightly and waved his hand dismissively.
"Oh, no, you don't understand." He smiled and played with a tuft of his vibrant hair. "This is natural. No dye."
The class president was enraged. "You expect me to believe that?"
"Gotta go." Mugi ducked into his homeroom and rushed to his seat. He ignored the cry of protest from the student council representative and instead pulled out his notebook.
Meanwhile, the homeroom teacher shuffled in.
"Stand." He called. The students stood straight, pushing their chairs back. "Bow."
"Onegaishimasu." The students spoke in unison, bowing down slightly.
"Sit." The students sat back down in their seats. "Good morning, class 2-B. " The teacher said quietly afterwards, making Mugi have to lean forward to catch it.
Suddenly, the teacher paused. "Right, I'm Kurokawa Daniel. Nice to meet you." Kurokawa-sensei turned and wrote the kanji of his surname on the board and turned back to the attendance.
"Respond when I call your name. Akigawa-san?"
"Here."
"Hayashi-san?"
"Here."
"Inoue-san.."
Mugi stopped paying attention at that point and began doodling in his notebook.

Shoulders slumped, head hanging down, Shiro shuffled towards the... high school? The author wasn't sure since it wasn't specified. His white hair fluttered in the wind, paler than the cherry blossoms drifting from the trees lining the dirt path.
"Today isn't school," he muttered, hoping to give himself some motivation. "It's just orientation. I still have a little more vacation left. Oh, wait. It is the first day of school."
Depression filled his heart and weighed upon his very soul as he thought of what the upcoming days would be. Shoved in a stuffy classroom, listening to a teacher drone on, obligated to take tests and do homework, and even worse, be surrounded by annoying, mindless, hormonal teenagers for hours six days a week.
"Argh," he screamed to no one in particular, his fingers grasping the sides of his head in agony. "What did I do to deserve this? Someone just kill me now!"
Silently, almost out of no where, a golden swallow flitted from the laden branches of one of the cherry blossom trees. It swooped gracefully onto Shiro's shoulder, it's long feathers sweeping the air.
"You shouldn't say things like this," the bird scolded. "A yokai might take you seriously."
"I know, Tsucchan" Shiro groaned, digging his hands into his pockets. The handle of his school bag rode up his left forearm, bunching the sleeve of his dark blue blazer. "I'm just peeved that Kuro threatened my lollipop supply in exchange for dealing with this mess."
The flaxen-haired boy was oblivious to the stares he was receiving. To most students, he appeared to be talking to himself. As for those who could see Tsubami, her golden feathers were enough to catch the attention of any normal human.
"Even if a yokai were to come, Tsucchan, I could deal with it no problem."
Tsubami nodded before spreading her wings and flying ahead. She was going to go check out which homeroom Shiro was to be assigned to.
And with that, poor Shiro noticed an enormous one-eyed... thing. It stared out from one of the tall trees, it's thing, scraggly red hair standing out amongst the pallor of the blossoms around it. Its large smile revealed gargantuan teeth, the enamel slightly yellowed.
"Can you see me...?" it hissed in a low, growling voice of crushed glass.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
Shiro bolted for the school as fast as his skimpy legs would carry him, close to tears. If people hadn't noticed his strange presence by now, he had just become the topic of the day.

"Oh," Hiyama exclaimed happily, clapping his hands together. He took in the sight of familiar faces. "It looks like I won't have to work hard to remember everyone's names this year!"
The students mumbled in reply. It seemed that not one person was fully awake yet. Only the ridiculous class pets were sitting straight and attentive. Even worse, most of them were sitting in the same seats as last time: The creepy stalker fangirl sat right in front of the podium, the class president character with his glasses and combed hair sat next to her, and the braided-pigtail girl who did nothing but study was on the other side. Hiyama was already sick of seeing their faces.
"So," Hiyama said, still smiling and cheerful. "Last year, you guys chose your seats, but this year, we're drawing seats out of a hat.
More groans. Expected.
"And no you cannot trade with other students, Midorikawa-san," Hiyama quickly addressed the stalker fangirl as she raised her hand and brought it back down heavily, disappointed.

(Oh, no. It's Kurokawa. Hiyama is teaching another class. It's fine to ask if you're not sure, so don't worry. ^ ^ As you know the saying: "A man who asks is a fool for a minute, a man who doesn't is a fool for a lifetime." )

Koe replied with "here" when her name was called and doodled little flowers on her papers. Koe was very demure and really didn't talk much in class, not like anyone noticed. Koe hadn't even had the delight of having a "friend" or a "sleepover" it was sad. At least Koe had her piano and pet sugar-glider for company.
She began listening again when role was done. She just kinda stared, in hope the words would process later for her. She tapped her fingers softly on her desk and moved a part of her bangs to the side. Today sure was going slow.

Len sat in his desk, a grin spread on his face. He couldn't waittt!! He loved school more than anything, and new seats were exciting to obtain. He just hoped it wasn't by somebody he really didn't like.
He rested his chin on his hands, and smiled, eyes fixed on the teacher. His legs crossed underneath the desk, and he slouched. His normal good moody gesture, on a normal good day.
A girl then burst into the room, panting a little. She walked up to Kiyoteru-sensei, and handed him a note, "I'm new to the school, so I uh...I think I'm in your class! Right? I hope. I don't want to get mixed up." She looked at the class, which seemed bored, then smiled goofily. She bowed, "Hello! My name is Layla Shimizu, and it's a pleasure to meet all of you!" She said, her cheeks flustered, then turned to Hiyama, wondering where exactly she sat.

(I think it would work quite well if it was the same as last time, but this is an entirely new roleplay. A side-roleplay, so things CAN change. I think it would reduce confusion, though, if the students remained the same in Hiyama's class.)

When Kurokawa-sensei finished the attendance and any other homeroom daily-do's, the bell rang and he smiled.
"Looks like it's time for your next class soon. Have a nice day."
He collected his things and left the room. A few seconds later, a dark-skinned women walked in, her black heels clicking against the tiles. She placed her papers and such on the podium and examined the class with a careful eye.
"Good morning, Class 2-B." She spoke confidently. There was a slight accent in her Japanese pronunciation. "I am Senora Alvarez. It is nice to meet you all." She turned around and wrote her name on the board in... in... THAT WASN'T JAPANESE. No, she wrote it in English characters, or technically, Spanish.
The gaijin beauty nodded at the students who were all wearing faces of fear and confusion. Sure, they were in the middle of learning English, but that caught them off guard! Obviously Alvarez-sensei was going to be the English teach-
"I will be your teacher of math. I hope we can get along." What?! WHAT?! WHAAAAT?! The students stared open-mouthed. WHOAAAAAAA.
Before the students could get over their awe and maybe slight fear, the teacher (Clara is you haven't noticed, by the way) continued on.
"Aaalright. I am going to begin the lesson. Of math." She ended up speaking unnecessary words, not having perfected Japanese grammar yet. (Hard to translate a Japanese grammar error to English, eh? ;3;)

Ryu arrived at school late since she burst into whatever class she was in's door. She sighed and ignored the teacher."I'm late I know...I hate this stinkin school..."she said and then began to walk to her seat with a frown, today was not going to be good for her at all.

Koe looked at the girl who barged in, ugh she could smell her from her seat. The girl's hair was an ebony color and extremely messy. Koe could tell it was one of the dumb juveniles, but why would a juvenile be in this class? Koe groaned. She would need to work her hardest to move up or down, whichever was the opposite way the juveniles were heading.
Koe stared into space, thinking about her keyboard at home. Man, she really wanted to play it, and eat some lemon cake, oh how she loved lemon cake. While the boys wore whatever Lyme chose, the girls wore a navy blue sweater with a collared shirt and red tie underneath. Also a black skirt and regular school shoes, except Koe had a choker on, one which she had kept since her childhood.
Koe was really only leaning her head on her palm and ignoring all her surroundings. She wasn't really interested in math, she was somewhat interested in the science of binaural beats but that was pretty much it. Japanese was good, she practically just wrote songs into her assignments a few times. Or she would make a song about the subject she had to write about, like volcanoes. English was easy because she was bilingual, but History. Oh god, kill Koe before history class.
She stopped and pondered about what teacher she would have a "crush" on. Because if you didn't know, Koe is in the closet. Yeah, pretty mysterious right? To bad she is very unnoticeable. Anyways yeah, Koe finally chose Kurokawa-sensei. She smirked and thought to herself, maybe I'll make some friends. ((THIS IS ALL CRAP THE SENTENCES DON'T EVEN COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER))
