"Alright, everyone! Listen up!" Clara slammed her ruler upon the podium in the front of the room. She glared at all the students and then continued. "The Sports Festival is friggin' TOMORROW."
The students were absolutely silent and still. They had no idea what Alvarez-sensei wanted from them and just stared. Each one of them tried not to catch attention and piss off their teacher.
"You guys have to beat the other class at ALL costs! By ALL MEANS NECESSARY! I made a bet with Kurokawa that my class would win! You know what that means!
IF YOU GUYS WIN, I GET 100 FRIGGIN' BUCKS!"
The class was quiet.
"BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. IF YOU GUYS GET FIRST PLACE, I'LL GET TAKEN FOR KOREAN BARBECUE!
THAT'S RIGHT, CLASS. YOU BETTER WIN THAT SPORTS FESTIVAL, OR ELSE I'LL BE GIVIN' YOU EXTRA HOMEWORK FOR A MONTH!"
Now the class began to speak up in protest. "Hey, what? That's not fair! You can't do that!"
"SHUT UP."
And that was that. The sports festival was going to be one heck of a time..

Luckily Koe was in Kurokawa-Sensei's class. And Kurokawa was two much of a pussy to make them do any extra homework. Plusthatassalreadygavethemenoughhomeworkasitis. Anyways Koe was not that athletic.

Kurokawa-sensei looked up from his book as he was in the middle of the lesson.
He listened to the screaming from the other classroom.
"Which reminds me... The Sports Festival is tomorrow. Um, try your hardest. If you win, I'll buy you all soft drinks. I won't.." The teacher paused and listened. "I won't force you into any punishments, though." Then he mumbled under his breath, "That girl has problems."

Koe cheered with her other classmates. They all liked free drinks, and if they did lose there would be no punishments so yay. Koe looked at all the other classmates, hopefully they would win.

"Good luck in the festival tomorrow. That's all I have to say." Daniel smiled. A girl named Stephanie swooned at the ultimate hotness. "Try your best, but don't be sore losers about it. As long as we have fun, winning doesn't matter."
In the other class, Clara had the complete opposite ideal from Daniel.
"You better crush those other classes to DUST! You hear me? Freakin' dust! Make sure you WIN! It's not fun unless you win! Do you want to leave the festival as snivelling losers? Of course not! We better win tomorrow!"

(Har, har, har...I actually didn't really want to play as Sanae....but oh well. )
What...?
Sanae only blankly stared at her pumped up teacher, Alvarez-sensei.
Unlike most of the other students who were confused or annoyed at her reason for wanting this class to win, Sanae didn't care that Alvarez-sensei would recieve the benefits, after all, isn't making your homeroom teacher/class look good the job of the students...?
Sanae only laid her head on her desk, already feeling tired from hearing the word 'Sport'. She stared outside the window, a few rows away, "Looks like it'll be sunny out...like usual..." Just the thought of the sun already made her feel like she was going to have a heat stroke, but Sanae didn't believe the excited teacher would let her out of the event, smiling or not, Alvarez-sensei still seemed entranced with expectations of victory over all.
Sanae sighed and clenched her fist, calling out a quiet 'yosh' to herself.

Mugi lay out flat on his desk. Alvarez-sensei was so pumped up about the stupid festival, but Mugi was dreading the next day. Sports were NOT his thing. Thirty seconds of mild running exercises made him feel like he was going into cardiac arrest. Imagine the stupid sports fest.
"Please rain tomorrow. Please rain tomorrow... Maybe I should skip class.. Uuugh..."

Koe was in Kurokawa-Sensei's class considering skipping the sports festival. Nobody would notice she was gone anyways.

~ Time Skip ~
Birds chirped as the sun blazed brightly above the campus. A beautiful cloudless sky. Not a chance of depressing rain.
...none at all...
Sanae sat beneath her umbrella, dressed in her physical education clothes, long pants and long shirt, even though all the other girls in the locker room urged her not to dress that way, but... Sanae stared at the bright green grass that was not shaded by her umbrella... ...her whole body was completely shaded, she wouldn't allow one limb of her to be exposed to the sunlight, clothed or not. She had a headband on, pushing her bangs back, beads of sweat were already beginning to form on her face even though she has yet to do anything physically strenuous.
(I suppose she'll only be alive for this thingy majigger...tobacco filled lunged Shigeru wouldn't survive...)

Mugi practically broke down in the heat of the sun.
"NOOOO! WHYYY?! I EVEN HUNG ALL THE RAIN DOLLS UPSIDE DOWN!" He beat the ground with his fists and then was kicked in the ribs (lightly) by his teacher.
"Hey, go change in your gym clothes and stop crying. You gotta have spirit, alright?"

Shiro glanced up at the bright blue sky, puffy white clouds drifting slowly across. He felt a light breeze sweep gently through his light hair and against his skin.
"It's a nice day today," Shiro mumbled. "Shit.
Fellow students ran around, excitedly chattering and preparing for the upcoming events, clad in t-shirts and shorts for boys or t-shirts and bloomers for girls. Shiro shook his head, his hair flouncing on the top of his head.
"Screw this shit. I'm skipping."
With that, Shiro found a nice tree and leaned against the strong trunk. Resting in the shade, he decided to take a nap.

Koe was standing awkwardly by the track. ((I assume that is where we are)) Her stomach painfully growled, people noticed the sound but not her. Is she really that invisible? Wow.
But today was not the best day for her. She had a greasy breakfast, and some lemon cake. She felt as though she would barf.

Seeing the teachers/coordinators(?) walking onto the track area, Sanae wiped some of the sweat off her face and stood up, waiting for instruction, holding onto her tool for shade and fanning herself with her hand.
(...who's directing the sports festival...? The teachers? ....class representatives? Student council? Principals?)
It might be a nice day for everyone else, but the thought of sunlight burning her was not something she would like...so she put extra sun lotion on this morning...
