Okay so if you didn't know I know nothing about technology... I am kind of hopeless you see. But I want to try to do a fandub of a song I like and well I don't know whwere to begin... Anyone mind explaining anything for me? Like what should i do to start with programs and how i upload it?

First, have a microphone. Second: get audacity. audacity.sourceforge.net/ its fun, easy to use and free. Just record stuff with the red dot when you install it. Then you can go to File > Export As > lasjdf;lkjsdf. You'll need the lame encoder which is also on that website. That will easily install so you can export mp3s. boom done. Once you have the mp3 you go to Windows Movie Maker (you'll need an actual computer with windows) and piece it all together, then export it and upload it. if you're aiming for a video. if you want to upload the raw mp3 or something you can use soundcloud obviously. I suggest when recording a fandub, get the song's off vocal, just youtube it. You can download youtube mp3's with www.youtube-mp3.org/ just put the link name in and download it. or use nicosound. either way bleh. to put other mp3s in audacity you can go to file > export yus.

I also can give you the names of some good microphones, but they're kinda... not cheap. lol

just dowloaded them! but i need to bring my mic from my mom's next time i come to my dad's!
