Well, for one thing...did you read the rules thoroughly...?
Chloe is a nice person, honest to goodness truth.
But if she didn't attack you, and I came first, I would have probably been the one attacking you, but probably in a more subtle but more descriptive way. (Iunno, I'm not you or anyone else so...) Just speaking the truth.
You kind of deleted your stuff in this thread, so I can't really constructively criticize you on anything here yet (this thread I mean), so...yeah, whatever.
But anyways, one reason I can say was, though I haven't really been on, it looks like you didn't even wait to get your character/application accepted yet and just started role playing.
There's a regulation on characters that goes through the administrators because some characters just aren't acceptable.
And in that regulation, spelling and grammar is pointed out as well as when others read your character application, we get a sense of your role playing style and syntax and technique. If you go through other members of this role playing site, you can also see their character's specifications and the user's writing syntax and techniques to get a sense of their strengths and abilities in writing.
It may seem very picky, but I kind of figure, if you're young, it's good for you and your education. So here, even though we use certain phrases like "lol" or "ikr", it's good for your writing skills when we pick at it. When we're just talking about something, that's when I use those acronyms, but when it comes to role playing, for me personally, I choose to tell a story rather than just what's happening, that way it feels like my character is alive and is experiencing things, that they seem more realistic. So instead of plain "so and so did this", I chose to do "so and so...."...ehh....if you really want examples from me, go look for my character applications. Pick at me too for all I care, as a hobbyist writer, I like advise and criticism to make me become better at, not only role playing, but as a writer.
And not only for writing structures! There reason why some characters just aren't acceptable is because their either too bland or too great that their characters just don't have enough or good depth. This character is boring, they don't do anything, they just sit around and stare at the wall, they don't feel anything, they don't care about anything, kill it, it's not going to do anything; no one wants to role play with that character. And not just that, there's no depth. And then there's Mr. or Miss Perfection, I'm so pretty, you can't turn your eyes away, look at my big boobs, they're E cups and I have a really skinny waist and a big booty, I can sing perfectly, I can read your mind even though your character doesn't make it obvious, I have a large badonkadonk/anaconda, you can't win against me, I am the best. ...when you really think about it, not a lot of depth either, and not really a character you want to role play with.
Characters go through regulation for lots of purposes, and if your character is accepted, good for you. If the administrators like your character(s), there's a chance that other people will like your character(s) too. Knowing the members here, we all at least check to see if a character has been accepted, and if we submit a new character, we wait for it to be accepted. <--For your learning experience. And when we know what character has been accepted, we find it acceptable to role play our characters with that character.
I find it kind of a respectable thing to do. At least wait until you're accepted or your character has been accepted.
We always accept new members, whether we know them before hand or not, but imagined if you had an uninvited guest at your house that just walked into your house without your approval and went through your fridge? Get what I'm saying?
And if you're still not sure about how to go about this site, there are A LOT of examples that you can use. Such as character applications of other members or the members that have been here for quite a while AND role plays that have been quite active until they died.
And one main thing is, until your character is accepted, do not role play that character.
We role play as characters, not as our selves.
I'm pretty sure the rules are pretty self explanatory, if not, please re-read them and try again.
Thank you.
