Rin watched as the two sang, switching and blending as they went. "Wow! You two sound great and blend really well! It's hard to think you weren't originally written into the song Magiku-san!" Rin commented, catching the quirk of Gumi's mouth as she tried not to mess up her words at the chorus and not laugh all at once. She glared at Rin for throwing her off, and the petite blonde just shrugged.

Maggi smiled happily as she continued to sing. Singing with Gumi and being praised by Rin made her feel really good about herself.

As the song came to a close, Gumi felt a smile slowly spread across her face, and she brushed back her green hair, turning to face her singing partner.
"That was so much fun! Thank you so much! What a great suggestion!" Gumi said, breathless from excitement and from singing. "We could sing a trio....or maybe call it a break...I'm really up for anything...you really helped me get over my school blues Magiku-san!" Gumi said, smiling. She never really liked school, she hung around the middle of the pack, passing somewhat. Except in science and music (and somewhat math). Gumi loved music class, and she was really good at sciences and experiments.

Maggi smiled at them, but was feeling a little tired after all that singing. But at the same time, she was just as happy.
"We can take a break for now...I'm feeling a little tired..." she told them, smiling.

Nodding, Gumi stretched a bit. "I know what you mean" She said, yawning after her sentence. She rummaged in her bag for some money.
"I'm gonna go buy some drinks...any preferences?" She asked, flicking her green eyes between Rin and Gumi.
"I want an orange drink!" Rin called, raising her hand. She had a smile on her face, and Gumi rolled her eyes. "Well...you didn't sing, so you don't need anything" Gumi said, hands on her hips. She was only teasing the blond, after all. "But i worked so hard to cheer you on!" Rin nearly whined, looking up at Gumi with puppy dog eyes. Gumi laughed. "I was only joking...I'll get you an orange drink...how about you, Magiku-san?" She asked, facing the auburn haired girl.

Maggi smiled at Gumi, feeling bad that Gumi was buying her a drink but at the same time relieved. She was really thirsty but didnt have any money herself.
"Just a chocolate milk, please." she told her, blushing a little.

Giving Maggi a thumbs up, Gumi nodded.
"All-right! Something orange, chocolate milk and my secret drink...coming up!" Gumi said, tearing out the door, which closed behind with a bang.
Rin sighed. "She's too energetic..." She said, laughing. She leaned back in the chair she was sitting in.
"Ah...it feels nice to just sit back and relax after school..." She said, smiling at the other girl.

"Y-yeah," Maggi replied with a smile.
She was right. The feeling of kicking back and relaxing after a long, hard day of school was the best feeling you could imagine.

Giving a stretch, Rin yawned. This was the life....
"So...what grade are you Maggiku-san?" Rin asked, turning her eager blue eyes to Maggi. She was guessing first or second year. "I'm a first year...class 1-B" she said, curious if she was in class with Maggi.

Maggi looked down a little bit. Even though it was a simple question to answer, she still had trouble making conversation with anyone.
"I-i'm a first year too...class 1-A..." she stammered.

"Woah! So your smarter than me!" Rin said, leaning forward, and then frowning. "No fair..."
"Don't blame others for your mistakes!" Gumi said, chucking a brightly colored orange drink at Rin. The small blonde struggled to catch the drink, and stuck her tongue out at Gumi before leaning down to pick it up off the ground. The green haired girl just laughed and handed Maggi the chocolate milk.
"Don't mind Rin..." Gumi said, opening up her coffee flavored drink. She knew Rin was just joking around but, just in case Maggi didn't know, she wanted to clarify it a bit.
"If you had studied instead of playing video games, maybe you'd have done better!"
Rin just smiled, holding her drink.
"I hope you're settling in...if you need any help, just ask me! This is my 2nd year!" Gumi said, smiling proudly.

Maggi blushed at Rin's comment.
It was true. Maggi ranked 10th place in her grade. She was a very intelligent student but it wasnt really a good thing for her. She was still always alone.
"Its not always good to be smart..." she mumbled.

Shaking her head, bow flopping and hair waving, Rin disagreed.
"No! I think it's better to be smart! That way I could be of more help...I'm only good at singing and songwriting..." Rin said, looking into her drink, her mind miles away. She shook her head again and smiled at Maggi.
"Haha...I'm sorry about that..." She apologized for her little down spiral.
Gumi looked between the two.

Maggi looked away from Rin, frowning.
"Being smart is reason i dont have a friend in the world..." she said, sadness clearly being heard in her voice.

"really?!" Both Gumi and Rin exclaimed, nearly yelling. Rin was leaning forward in her chair, surprise written across her face. Gumi had her eyes opened in surprise, and she blinked, frowning.
"You mean...you don't have one friend...? Like...not even one?" She asked, brushing her green hair back and biting her lip. She felt bad for the first year. She was tempted to say something like they were friends...but they weren't...were they...
"Not even friends to sing with?" Rin asked in place. She was surprised no one had suggested singing with her.
