Gumi sighed, walking along a bustling street. The weather was getting water, but there was still a cold breeze, so she wore a knee-length orange skirt, with an off the shoulder green long sleeved shirt. She ran a hand through her wind blown green hair and re-adjusted her goggles. She stopped to look in a window of some store at a cute pair of shoes, but they were a bit too pricey. Sighing again, she moved on. Gumi hadn't had any good songs in awhile...and was running low on funds. She walked on, and accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh. I'm sorry!"

Lindy turned her head to see the person she had just bumped into. Green hair. That was the first thing she noticed about her. Then Lindy looked down at Kuro, who looked like he was about to charge the girl's shoe so he didn't miss out on anything. She promptly picked the tiny hooded skeleton up and tried to keep him from biting her. "Um, I guess it's okay... Sorry about Kuro, though." She looked at Kuro, who was giggling a little, and Lindy knew a giggle from him could only mean something bad. Then, she realized it. The girl who she had bumped into probably couldn't see Kuro. Lindy fiddled with the blue ends of her black hair, and tried to think of something to cover up what she had just said. "Oh, i'm sorry! I've just been...um... thinking about Black Vow lately... you know, Kuro no Chikai?"

Gumi looked back at the black haired girl and the blue tips. Oddly enough, they looked strangely really good on her. She smiled at waved it away. "Oh, it's no problem! We all say something we think! I do it a lot too..." Gumi smiled at her, thinking of many a time when she herself did this, and a faint pink brushed her cheeks in embarrassment. She stepped out of the way of a couple. "So...are you okay?" Gumi asked. She wondered if they could be friends. "Listen, do you want to get a coffee or something with me?" She blurted out, wondering if that was odd to ask someone you just bumped into.

Lindy was a little bit freaked out, considering she didn't even know the green-haired girl's name. She was about to say no, but she almost cried out in pain instead as Kuro's sharp teeth pierced her ankle. It started bleeding(or whatever vocaloids do when they get cut ), so she picked it up off the ground and wrapped her fingers around the cut to hide it. Kuro sure was having fun. He was squirming around in his hood - which Lindy held in her other hand - laughing as hard as he could. It was quiet, and raspy, and it scraped at Lindy's ears. She finally flipped Kuro around, holding him from the bottom of his cloak, and he stopped laughing immediately. Lindy smiled weakly, as she decided to accept the girl's request. "You know my weakness!" she laughed weakly. "I'm Lindy." [sorry it's so late, i didn't wake up early enough this morning to do it then :3]

(no problem! ^^) Gumi smiled and took the girl's outstretched hand. "Nice to meet 'cha Lindy. I'm Gumi!" They strolled down the busy streets. "Say, Lindy, are you a vocalic of sorts by chance?" She asked, wondering if this new girl would want to sing together. She then noticed her bleeding. "Your ankle! Are you okay?" Gumi asked, actually worried for her {I have no clue if they bleed...:/}. It might benher first friend not part of the inner circle of famous vocaloids.

"Yeah... I do sing quite a lot..." Lindy started humming Black Vow for emphasis. "Oh, um, my ankle's okay, you don't have to worry!" She looked down at the cut. It stung. The stinging wasn't painful, just... annoying. Maybe even embarrasing. She wanted it to go away so Gumi would stop worrying. Lindy absolutely hated when people worried about her. They walked a little further, and finally reached the coffee shop. Lindy took in the smell as she walked in. She walked up to the counter - there wasn't a line that particular day - and immediately ordered what she always did. "I'll have a... mint mocha with lots of whipped cream and chocolate shavings"
[yes, Lindy conveniently likes exactly the same kind of coffee as i do :3]

Gumi smiled and clapped her hands together. "Perfect!" She decided to wait on asking the question till she knew Lindy a bit more. She nodded her head asnthey entered the store. "Alright...if you're sure" she said, not entirely convinced. She followed behind Lindy and looked at the board. She wasn't sure what to order...so she Decided she'd try what Lindy got. "I'd like a peppermint mocha with whipped cream and chocolate shavings as well please. Thank you!"she said to the waitress, who looked bored. They paid and got their drinks. "Let's sit over there.." Gumi said, pointing to a quiet section near a window.
(haha what a coincidence! XD but, it does sound good....*has to try this nxt time she gets coffee...>.>)

"okay," Lindy said as she walked to the deserted booth. When the two got closer, Lindy noticed that the booth didn't look that deserted up close; sunlight was spilling all over the surface of the table. Lindy licked the cool, whipped cream off the top of her drink and tasted the small chocolate bits that stuck to it as she slid as close as possible to the window. Kuro was wriggling inside of his cloak, and managed to pull his hood over his face. He HATED sunlight. Lindy turned up the volume on her headset that was hidden by her hair. Matryoshka was playing, and she thought it was a pretty good soundtrack for coffee drinking. She was in an EXTREMELY good mood, and felt a little like singing, though she only thought the words and mouthed them when she wasn't sipping coffee. "Hey, Gumi, what's your favorite song?" she asked out of minor boredom.
[AAAAAAH!!! i was BANNED again! i finished mah homework though, so i can come on for a little while :3 then i have to read a play D'X * listening to matryoshka and watching myself speed draw *]

Gumi sat, soaking up the sunlight, and enjoying the drink. It was actually quite good! She lazily opened her eyes at Lindy's question. "Well, it depends...do you mean to sing, or to listen to?" Gumi asked, sipping her drink. She had a favorite song to sing and to listen to... "My favorite to sing is Goodbye to Alice and my fave duet is If Tomorrow Comes. But my favorite song is most likely..." she paused here to think. "Kimi No Shiranai Monogatari" Gumi said. "What about you?" she asked.

Lindy thought about that question as the music from her headset switched to Tori no Uta. Then, she suddenly recognised Gumi's voice in it. Why hadn't she noticed it before? Maybe it was Gumi's outfit that made her seem different. She brushed off the thought that she had just met a more popular vocaloid, and turned her thoughts back to the question. "Alice of Human Sacrifice," She answered coolly, sipping her minty coffee. She wondered if that was a weird answer, but she decided it didn't matter. It was just a song, right? .... RIGHT? "I used to sing that song a lot with my friend Aikou. He would be Len and Kaito, and i would be Meiko, Miku, and Rin." She smiled back at the memory. She also remembered how Aikou would fall down at the end of Kaito's verse. Sometimes, she had laughed so much that she 'couldn't continue onto Miku's part until he brought her some cake'. She sipped some more coffee and bit the tip of her pinky.

Gumi smiled. "That is a good song." she said. She wished she was creative enough to sing dark songs like that...but she could only think of happy or sad songs. She absentmindedly chewed on her straw, thinking over some things to ask Lindy...she still wanted to perform a duet. "So, what kind of songs do you prefer to sing?" She asked. It went through her mind that maybe Lindy only covered songs, and she wondered if she should cover more songs...she shook her head, green hair crossing her vision, and causing her googles to fall, askew, across her face. She laughed as she straightened them out.

"It changes a lot... right now i like singing trios of any kind" Lindy answered as Gumi finished straightening her goggles. Kuro struggled free from Lindy's grip and climbed onto the table, then onto the napkin dispenser."How about you?"

Gumi nodded her head at Lindy's response, and again her goggles fell down. She decided to inspect the strap and tighten it, all the while talking. "Me? Well, I like sadder songs, you know, with a story, or just emotional ones, like Our 16bit Warz or Goodbye to Alice" She said, naming a few. She slipped the orange goggles back on. "Say, would you want to sing a duet together?" Gumi asked, hoping this wasn't too soon, or too ostentatious. "It's just...well, I really want to sing, and no one wants to sing with me..." She said, playing with the ends of her hair. "I understand if you don't..." Gumi said, looking at LIndy.
(dats alright! ^^ we all get lazy! ^^ and uber is a fun word! XD)
