"Thank you for coming today." Sanae smiled and stood up to bow to her guest in her room as they left since her panel was finished. Truthfully, her panel would have been finished fifteen minutes ago since more than half of the conventioneers left, was it because of her inexperience in reaching out to her fans personally, after all, this was the first time attending an anime convention, or any convention in general. "The Vocaloid Panel..." Or was it because of this panel? She ignored her manager from her shoujo manga agency. She was secretly a mangaka for two years, her job was to five pleasant dreams to girls and please them with romantic stories. She became really popular after her first series, that now became an anime quickly and was promoting her third series.
Sanae walked out of her panel room, being dressed in a red frilly and plaid jumper skirt (with bloomers beneath of course) and a sleeveless frilled shirt that buttoned up to her neck, tied with a black ribbon. Her headband was adorned with ribbon roses and lace and more ribbons over her short curly purple wig. She was dressed like that the whole day. She looked over at the panel next door that was just opened, fans already waiting in line just to get in, a lot of them dressed up as the vocaloids as well.
The vocaloids were very popular, but even so, Sana supposed she never really paid attention to them. After all, she was a busy worker and student.
Sanae walked around the line and then pretended to be part of a group, getting into the panel room quickly and sat in the middle of the room, or a seat in the middle aisle, crossing one leg over the other and waited for the panel to start.

This place sure was getting crowded. He didn't have to wonder what the fuss was about, because it was obviously all about the Vocaloids. Yuma was invited of course, to attend their panel, and be a part of it.. since he was now a Vocaloid himself.
Yet, a sad essence of him said not to join them. Yuma was only new to the team, so it wouldn't really matter if he joined or not. He decided to come, while wearing some Luka cosplay (due to the fact that his hair was already pink and looked like her brother's to begin with.) A lot of other people had already passed him by, complimenting his outfit. Funny thing is, it was actually something from Luka's closet he just happened to steal and modify so it'd have pants. No way in hell was he going out into public in a skirt.
Yuma waltzed into the Vocaloid Panel, mumbling to himself that it had only been an accidental slip, no matter how obviously he'd gone in there. Thankfully nobody had noticed he was actually himself. He leaned forward, resting his elbow on his knee and his chin in his hand.
For the fun of it, he decided to start conversation. Maybe the person next to him? He looked to his left, seeing some odd younger girl with crazy hair. He looked to his right, seeing someone semi-normal, wearing red frills. He gave her a smile, "Some Panel, huh? These things get so crowded." He just hoped she wasn't much a Vocaloid fan to notice his voice.
Actually, Yuma had never been to one of these before. Not a Vocaloid Panel, nor a big gathering such as this. They weren't really...too exciting. It was pretty strange, the way people were enjoying themselves so much.

Sanae turned her head left to the guy that was sitting next to her. Was he talking to her? Feeling shy all of a sudden, her head jerked around a little bit to see if there was a possibility of him talking to anyone else but there wasn't so... She looked down and smiled a little, feeling that it would be rude if she didn't return him a smile and an answer. "Ano...I suppose." She chuckled a little as she looked up at him, unsure of what to really say since she didn't really know much about vocaloids. Perhaps all she really knew about them was that there was a "Miku Hatsune" in the vocaloids, and perhaps that was pretty much it. But looking at this man made her feel even more shy all of a sudden, to think that someone like him would even talk to her, after all, she'll have to admit to herself that he was attractive to the eyes. She flushed a little as she looked around, crossing her arms and pulling her shoulders close to her. "Eh....ehehe..." Sana smiled as she looked up at the front of the panel room as her fingers curled near her lips. She wasn't sure what to do, not wanting to feel rude for giving him such an answer and not knowing how to converse with him...at this moment, she began to feel awkward...

Yuma sat back in his seat, looking forward. Had it already started, or was there some type of wait? He really had no clue, to be honest about it. And only then had he realized how uncomfortable his clothes were. How did Luka wear things like this? It was so tight, and hard to move in. He scowled, getting a tad bit angry at his choice of attire, no matter how well it did happen to fit him.
As for the girl next to him, he really couldn't think of much to say. She seemed to be a bit of the non-talkative type, or maybe he was just so boring he couldn't keep a decent conversation going. "Well, uhm, what brings you here?" VY2 decided to ask, hoping to clear up any odd atmosphere. Aha, he really need more things to do, rather than stalk his fellow Vocaloids and their fans.
"Oh! I'm sorry for being rude, I forgot to introduce myself," The position of sitting he was in would be too odd for a handshake, so he kept his arms to his sides, "I'm Yuma." Wait. He should've just used a fake name. Well, there was a lot of people with the name, so it might be fine. Yuma hadn't really said it loud enough for all to hear, anyhow.

"Ah! No!" Sana looked at him a shocked. "I'm sorry!" She gave a hesitant smile. "You're not rude, I'm sorry....I'm rude....." She laughed a little, mumbling the last part. "My name is Sanae." She smiled as she bowed her head to him. "It's nice to meet you, Yuma-san. Actually, I came here for business reasons." She seriously didn't know who he really was. She wasn't sure if she should use her real name or her character's name as since she wasn't sure if his name really was 'Yuma' or if he was cosplaying the character 'Yuma'. She looked at his attire and seriously didn't know who he really was dressed as. "So what are you hear for? Cosplaying?" She looked around at all the other cosplayers in the room, chatting off.

Yuma couldn't help but give a warm laugh, "Well, it's nice to meet you too, Sanae." He liked the sound of her name. Although the topic of whether it was her real name or her cosplay's made it a bit of confusing. That is, if she was even wearing an costume. He couldn't identify the character.
"Ah, yes, I see," He was curious to know what type of business related things could go on at such a place. After thinking on it, he quickly came up with a couple of things. "Cosplaying? Oh, yeah, I'm trying to go for a Megurine Luka cosplay, but it's a tad bit difficult," Yuma replied. Well, at least now he knew she wasn't a Vocaloid fanatic, since it was quite obvious what he was cosplaying.

"Ah! Sou!" Sana looked at him in his costume with a smile. "It's a very good design, is it a vocaloid?" Sanae looked around at the other fans in the room who were sort of dressed like him but wearing more of a skirt instead of pants. She looked back at Yuma with a smile. So it seems that Yuma's his real name if he's cosplaying 'Megurine Luka'. "Perhaps you can teach me a little about Vocaloids."

"Yes, yes indeed," Yuma said with a slight nod of his head. She at least knew what a Vocaloid was. Then again, who couldn't know... especially someone into the whole "Otaku" deal. Although that may not be the best word to explain it.
Yuma questioned his ability to define the Vocaloids. They were strange, yet wonderful people to get along with. It was definitely not a swell idea to get on their nerves, or rather, their bad side. He, as a new-comer to their group, was always so bewildered. Whether or not he should do this, or that. They never really gotten around to teaching him the 'ropes.' He began to laugh uneasily, "Vocaloids are a very difficult subject to explain." Very difficult is right.

"Ah, is that so?" Sana laughed a little and looked down. "I must be weird if I don't even really know what vocaloids are, I'm sorry." Sana scratched her head a little. "But it looks interesting. I look forward to finding out more about it."
Sana began to think to herself, of all people, why would this person decide to talk to her? And thinking about all those groups of friends chatting off with each other mad her think... Is he talking to me because I look like a loner? "If I'm bothering you, I'm sorry." Sana grinned it off as she looked at him. Even if talking to him was nice, she didn't want to feel like she was taking up his time and annoying him with her lack of knowledge and most especially her annoying voice.

"Oh, no, it's quite alright. Hopefully you might be able to find out more about them by the end of the day," Yuma said, shrugging his shoulders, "I'm not really your best teacher here."
He looked around at all of the other people, taking note of all the other cosplayers in the room. Mostly greasy fans who took a four hour long trip to get there. The idea of Cosplaying was actually kind of scary to him. It was like someone trying to dress up in your clothes. Which most of the time didn't even look right. Once in a while, they didn't seem too badly made.
"Bothering me? Not at all," Yuma made an odd hand swishing motion, "is there anything you're interested in, that you'd feel is more easier to talk about?" He wondered if she really wanted to talk to him at all. He couldn't blame her, as he wasn't much of a ladies man to begin with. Although he was quite the bit of a people person.

"Eh?" Sanae looked at him. "Ano..." She looked down thinking to herself. "Well....I don't know." She chuckled a little as she covered her face. "Truthfully, I find it hard to talk to people I've barely met." She kept her face down and nodded to herself. "So anything is really fine by me." She looked at him. "Is there something you want to talk about?"

Yuma thought for a moment, then shook his head, "I agree, however I honestly don't know what we could talk about." He gave a small laugh. He felt so odd at the moment. He had a feeling that he was becoming too socially awkward. Oh but that wasn't him at all.
"So you said you're here for business reasons, care to explain?" Yuma asked.

"Ah, ano..." Sanae looked up and thought for a little bit. "I was running a panel, my first time making contact with supporters of my works." She grinned a little. "I've finally became a legitimate manga author." She looked away a little. "But what are you really here for? Normally I would think that people come here with friends."

[ Hngghh I hope everybody knows this thread is for everyboddyy~ : D ]
"Oh Wow! Really? That's awesome," Yuma said, feeling a bit honored to actually talk to a 'legitimate' manga author. Perhaps she would someday become very popular? It sure did take a lot of work and skill. Especially when doing an entire book. Too bad Yuma could only draw stick figures with mustaches. Eheh..
Oh crap, his cover was blown. VY2 figeted in his seat, looking away for a moment. He couldn't really think of any lies to scandal himself with, so he decided to just say, "To spy on my friends, actually." Maybe she wouldn't continue to ask? She did seem like the less cliche kind, and more likely to keep a secret.
Why was he doing all of this, anyways?

((i AM GOING TO JOIN! BUT YOU WON'T RECOGNIZE RYU! =D) Ryu was tired and the only person she could cosplay would have to be Len Kagamine. Of course she made the cosplay outfit. It looked like she had stole it from Len. But she didn't. She had even died her hair blonde and put it in a pony tail and fixed her bangs like Len's.
Smiling she added the finishing touches. Which were contacts the color of Len's eyes. She cosplayed him since they were the same height. Now she had to go get her friend Neru.Once she got to her house she could tell Neru was going to cosplay Miku Hatsune.
Then Ryu noticed something. Neru had stole one of Miku's outfits from her closet. But instead of Neru dying her hair she had on a wig.But she had contacts aswell. It looked good. Ryu smiled. Then the two made it to the festival thing.
The two smiled and headed into the Vocaloid Panel. They sat next to Yuma and Sanae. Ryu looked just like Len and Neru looked almost like Miku. "So...um Hey...,"Ryu said to the two people beside her. The frilly one and the Megurine looking one.
(Didnt know how to jump in...)
