[This is a test to see whether I should really delete Ryosuke or not.]
"I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you," the Namio-sensei flustered, taking a tall stack of collated worksheets from Ryosuke's arms. "Thank you so much."
Ryosuke laughed gently and shook out his arms, which were already sore from the small weight of the papers.
"It was no problem, Sensei."
"You're such a great student, Moriyama-san," the teacher said over his shoulder as he brisky made his way to the office. "I'm glad you came to this high school."
Ryosuke merely laughed and waved in response before rushing back to 1-A to collect his bag where he left it. After staying behind to help Namio collate and staple worksheets, it was already evening and he needed to rush home.
The door to the classroom was already open. Ryosuke turned into the room, but quickly backed out and hid behind the sliding door. His breath caught in his throat and his heart rate accelerated.
Rays of light from the sunset filtered through the glass panes, illuminating the room into with an orange glow. Framed in the fiery beams, a feminine silouhette gazed out the window.
The girl's short hair flowed gently in a breeze sweeping through the room. She stood very still, dreamily watching as the clouds floated across the sky.
Ryosuke took a deep breath and straightened his tie. He ran his fingers through his hair as he entered at last, trying to appear calm.
"Sadako-chan," he breathed.

The girl started at the sound of Ryosuke's voice. She turned to face the visitor, and as she did so, a cloud drifted in front of the evening sun. For an instant, the brilliant colors dimmed and her face was plainly visible.
"Ryosuke-kun, you haven't gone home yet?"
It was Murakami Chihiro, one of Ryosuke's good friends since primary school. Her recent hair cut looked too similar to her...
"O-oh, uh, Chihiro-san," Ryosuke stammered. "I was helping Namio-sensei just now..."
Chihiro giggled and skipped over to Ryosuke. He quickly snatched his bag from the top of his desk and slung it over his shoulder, gripping the handle tightly, trying to fight down disappointment. As always, a smile covered his thoughts.
"Were you thinking of her again?" Chihiro asked, teasing just a little. She had known Ryosuke long enough. "Do you miss her?"
Ryosuke tried to pass it off with a laugh. "Just a bit," he said. "We were friends for a long time, you know. I miss her as much as you do."
But inside, his heart squeezed painfully and his chest tightened.
"Yeah, just a bit..."

(My original post got deleted. orz)
"Hey, Ryo-kun, are you listening?"
Ryosuke jolted to attention. Chihiro frowned as she balanced on the curb, her hands on her hips. The light autumn breeze tossled her shoulder-length hair.
"O-oh, uh, sorry..."
"Ah, mou," she grumbled. "Are you sure you're okay?"
Turning on her heel, she slowly continued to walk on the curb. Her hair was framed with the orange light of the setting sun.
Ryosuke laughed weakly, and tried to smile. He followed after her and the two walked in silence. As they walked, Ryosuke breathed in the fall air as he gazed at the familiar scenery.
Chihiro's house was about halfway between their middle school and Sadako and Ryosuke's home, leaving the two alone after they had dropped her off.
Alone, Ryosuke and Sadako would talk quietly. Sometimes they'd hold hands. They rarely went into their own apartments by themselves. One always visited the other and they worked on homework together while talking and laughing.
And then one day there were boxes in her house, but Sadako claimed they were just for storage. And then Ryosuke wasn't allowed in anymore because her house was apparently such a mess. And then Ryosuke's mother told him that Sadako was moving to Kyoto.
Ryosuke remembered the shock of the news, and how hurt he was that Sadako hadn't told him for so long. He remembered yelling at her and the fight they had. He remembered seeing her sitting by herself at lunch and walking home alone.
And one day, she wasn't at school. Chihiro had stayed late for cleaning roster, so Ryosuke went home by himself. And he remembered the rumbling of the moving truck and watching Sadako climbing in.
He had run after the vehicle screaming that he was sorry until his throat hurt and the truck was long gone. And he had gone into his own home and cried.
"Ryo-kun."
Chihiro's voice harshly cut into Ryosuke's thoughts. He started in surprise. They were in front of Chihiro's house.
"Ryo-kun," she said, her expression soft and her voice gentle. "If anything's wrong, just tell me. I'll listen to you."
Ryosuke nodded and swallowed hard. "Thanks, but I'm fine," he insisted.
She gave him a sideward glance before turning and rushing towards her gate. She waved behind her and slipped into her house. Ryosuke slowly waved back and continued home.
"Sacchan," he mumbled to himself. He looked up at the clouds as they drifted across the brilliant colored sky. The sun sank lower and lower behind the treeline. Ryosuke shivered and shoved his hands into his pockets.
"What are you doing right now?"

(I feel like he's kind of boring though. Like, he's a character without much room for development. Is that just me?)

(Eh!! Don't feel shy or embarrassed!! Besides....this is already sounding much more interesting than Sana's....eh!!! I was surprised when I read "Sacchan", I was like "waah?" And then I realized, it mean Sadako. <3 It's cute. <3 I can't wait for your writer's block to end. Good luck!)

(I'll add Ryu later. She goes to junior high and he goes to high school, so later. OwO Sound good to you?
And I'm just not used to writing this style. My writing is actually usually pretty messed up.
I just realized the Sanae/Sadako name similarity. Maybe he'll learn to call Sanae "Sacchan" as well? www Just kidding. Or not. I guess we'll have to see. I'm too much of a spur of the moment writer.
Arigatou! Ganbarimasu ne.)

(No, no, no!! He can't!! He shouldn't!!! Because Sadako seems to be a most important person to Ryousuke, so to Ryousuke, there should be only ONE Sa-chan. Besides Sadako is "Sacchan" and Sanae is "Sa-chan", there's an actual sound difference really. "Sacchan" has more of an emphasis on the "Sa" because of the double consonant while "Sa-chan" doesn't because there's there's no double consonant. "Sacchan" would be written as "さっちゃn" while "Sa-chan" would be written as "さちゃん".
And besides, because both Ryousuke and Sanae are the same age and most likely don't really have intimate feelings, they'd most likely call each other by the surnames...yetI'vealreadymadeSanacallRyousukebyhisfirstname.....inTheDream.... but that would only mean they're good friends or something if they call one another by their given names.
Because Ryousuke's the student body president, (right?), I would think that he ask pretty ladies to just call him Ryousuke, so then there goes "Ryousuke-kun" or "Ryou-kun", while he may feel most comfortable to respectably call other students by their family names if not given the permission to call another person by their first name. (In which I'm not sure if Sana would give him the permission to or not, but out of courtesy, perhaps.)
Either way, I still don't think that Ryousuke should call Sanae "Sacchan" or even "Sa-chan" because the nick names sound relatively the same, so it may dig into Ryousuke's heart to even think of the similarities between the names. Sanae: "If it is most uncomfortable for you, I would prefer if you only call me Sana. I don't want to see the hurt expression in your eyes when you speak such a name that you've already given someone else."
But anyways, I still think you're doing a wonderful job. Keep up the good work! I look forward to updates. <3 Good luck!!)

(...I was kidding by the way. But I also don't think he'd call her Sacchan because he doesn't have that close of a relationship with her, and The Dream is totally not going to count, since not only is it not applying to reality, but it's "six years in the future" or something.
I myself was thinking the Sacchan/Sa-chan problem too. OwO
The double consonant comes when a person has a very close relationship with another person. Like, a childhood friend, a mother to her daughter/son, girlfriend/boyfriend (not all the time of course).
You take the first syllable of their name and add a small tsu in front of the Chi in chan.
You probably know this, Aeirwen, but since Ryu swings by, I thought I might as well... gab on like an idiot.)

(Ah!! Sou! I'malittledense.....okay, I'm really dense when it comes to things. <3 But yeah.
And I honestly wouldn't really count the Dream either, because...it honestly...seemedlikeacrackrptome......and the future's not always set. <3 Until we really say it is.
lol, yeah, but it's cool. It's cool. <3)
