Name: Layla Shimizu (Nickname;; Lay)
Age: 16 and a half
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual (She likes girls more)
Rank: Fanmade(//oc)
Apperance:
Layla has very tangled, messy black hair. She keeps it up in two pig tails, to keep it maintained, however, her hair always remains a thick growth of mess. She has blue braces covering a set of rather uneven teeth, which sometimes tend to show even when she doesn't want them too. As a teenager, Layla happens to have a large array of pimples, especially near her nose-mouth area. She wears very large square green glasses, and only has one brown eye, while the other side of her face was burned in a childhood fire, causing her to not be able to see out of the other. She can barely open her eye on that side of the face. Layla loves to wear dull colors, and especially enjoys wearing turtle necks and sweaters. On her back she carries a large backpack, full of pieces and pparts of machines and such. Depending on the day does she wear pants or shorts. Most of the time her clothes are unmatching, but she doesn't mind.
Personality:
Layla is a rather cheerful girl. She loves to talk, and happens to do it alot, even if the person she's talking to doesn't like her. She is not a good singer, but is gifted with the ability of using machinery. She can fix mostly anything when she puts her mind to it. She has a very large fear of fire. It doesn't matter if it's just from a match, or a campfire, she will freak out when she sees it, due to the fire that scarred her face. When people mention her scar, or her hideous features, she gets rather moody, and angry. Set aside her feelings towards that, she doesn't cover it with an eyepatch, but with her hair most of the time.
She knows the vocaloids through her job, which is fixing backstage equipment, and setting it up, such as microphones and speakers. She is just recently on the job, so she is what you could call a 'newbie.'
Rp sample:
Layla let out a loud yawn, lifting her arms into the air as she did. She kept this up until the feeling of stretch-satisfation left her body. She flipped open the curtains, getting a blast of sunlight. It was such a beautful day. She immediately walked outside of her room. It was afternoon, she could tell, since her Mother was not home. She only lived with her. The door was securely locked, as her Mother always did.
The girl tried to hold back another little yawn before opening the fridge. Most of her favorite foods were all eaten up, except a thing of pizza left-overs from the other night. Eh, it would have to do. She plopped a slice into the microwave before turning back to her home. Her house was rather different on the inside. Since her father was the Japanese part of her family, with him being gone, made her home decor more modern. Japanese paintings still lingered on the walls of the living room, but she didn't mind. They sometimes looked kind of cute to her.
A ding from the kitchen appliance almost made her jump. She took out the re-warmed food and took a bite. Pleh! It was still cold. She shrugged, decided to just eat it anyways. Today, she was more excited than a seven year old on christmas eve. Today; she was going to her first day on the job. She could just see it now! One of those popular singer people needed help getting a microphone to work, who else to call than.... Layla the Tech Repair!
Was she really making a pose at her own thoughts? Lay pulled her hands away from her hips and slouched, she was so nervous. What if they didn't like her? What if they... made fun of her? She bit her lip, and shook her head furiously. They would have to just deal with her!
"Okay, let's see." Lay grabbed her tools, counting them off to make sure she hadn't missed a single bolt. She placed them into her big gray backpack, then pulled it over her shoulders, criss-crossing the straps so they x'ed across her chest. She smiled to herself. No matter what would happen, she was ready for anything. Sadly, she was making too much of a big deal over it. After all... those Vocaloid people weren't that popular, were they? She hadn't ever heard of them before in her entire life!
