If you wanna join if you aren't the names above pm me!
As Chloe ran out the airplane's gate and into the air-conditioned building she spread at her arms and smiled. She was finally at the place of her dreams, Tokyo! She grabbed her bags and her contest entry tightly and ran to the sign that said contest winners. Her blue eyes sparkled and her short brown hair flowed swiftly.
Chloe was wearing a white tee that she made at home that said "SPICE" on it, blue skinny jeans and some grey boots. Her bangs went to her eyebrows and her hair almost reached her shoulders. She arrived where the contest winners sign was and bowed to the adults there.
To get you the details, Chloe entered a fan-fiction contest to win a trip to Japan with as many as 9 other winners. She stood there waiting for the other winners from the two countries of Canada and America.
A few were coming and Chloe stared intently at them. Hopefully they would have some common interests with her like anime or something. One of the others were feet away...

Lyme stumbled out of tha airplane and groaned. Her dull brown eyes and greasy and short black hair barely glistened in the bright sunlight.
"Flying a plane," she grumbled quietly, "is a bitch." She almost tripped and had to lean against a pole to regain her balance.
Lyme adjusted her worn pink glasses and tried to breath in the fresh air. She could hardly call it fresh, as they were deep in the city. Her thick yellow sweater was tucked messily and her jeans were wrinkled.
There was a sign that read, "Contest Winners". Lyme barely even knew how she made it. NEver in her life had she written a fanfiction, and yet when she submitted a half-assed one hour story, she was on her way to Japan. Either no one entered, or they all sucked worse than her.
"Ha," she laughed bitterly. "I hope this wasn't a fluke."
There was no sense being harsh, though, as she was in Japan. Finally. A country that wasn't a few hours of driving away. Lyme was actually across the ocean from her home for once.
"Gee, I hope the winners are too much like weeaboos." She imagined how they would be pointing at everything and saying how Japan was, "The best place on Earth, desu desu desu desu desu!" Lyme nearly shuddered at the thought.
Unsure what to do, Lyme pulled her MP3 player from her pocket and slipped her black headphones over her ears. She never liked using earbuds because they always had a tendency to pop out and a study said it was really bad for one's hearing.
Lyme scratched her rashy and dry face as she walked towards the sign. There was a girl already there, with short brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. She looked extremely excited and had a T-shirt that read, "SPICE".
Oh lovely, Lyme thought to herself, This better not be a crazy Len fangirl.
Then, she forced a smile and waved towards the girl. She slid the headphones slightly so she could hear out of one ear. "Uh...nice to meet you."

Jessica stepped out of the airplane and entered the cool airport, yawning and stretching. Airplane rides always made her feel stiff and tired, even if it was only a flight from the edge of Canada over the Pacific Ocean.
It was hard to believe that she had finally arrived in Japan without having to pay a cent for the plane ticket. Still, she had hardly any pocket money, for the money in her 15-month term savings account in the bank couldn't be withdrawn until February on the year of her school's Japan trip.
She hadn't been expecting to win the contest either, as her fanfiction writing skills had yet to be honed, but obviously many people hadn't joined, for there she was, stepping out of the JAL airplane.
A tall blonde adult held a colorful poster decorated with words in large blue font, all capitals. It read:
"VOCALOID FANFICTION CONTEST - WINNERS, WELCOME TO TOKYO"
Playing with her short black hair and yawning once again, Jessica turned to her twin next to her and tiredly grinned.
"Well," she muttered. "I'm assuming that our rendezvous point is right there."
Stephanie laughed in response. "Gee, I hope the winners aren't too much like weeaboos." (Jessica assumed she didn't really mean are.)
Jessica nodded and responded dryly, "OMG, Japan! The ichi-ban place in the whole wide sekai desu. Desu."
"I hope this isn't a fluke," Stephanie said, ignoring Jessica's response and noticing the sign at last."
Nodding again, she pushed at Stephanie's back to make her start walking. Head high and striding, Jessica made her way through the busy airport. Although her height was lacking and she had quite a small stature, she held the airs of a queen.
But her confidence came mostly from her expectancy that the rest of the winners to be crazy weeaboos.
Her right hand pulled at her large black luggage while her left hand was tucked securely into the pocket of her favorite red sweater, which opened to reveal a loose-fitting t-shirt. She knew it would be hot, but she the sweater's deep pockets were useful, especially when her short black cake-skirt had none.
"Doumo," she greeted, wiggling her toes in nervous anxiety. She was excited, but she couldn't help and feel a bit worried, knowing she'd be pretty much on her own in a foreign country.
One of the girls who had already arrived seemed quite familiar. The face niggled at a memory deep in Jessica's brain, like perhaps a girl who had once cosplayed as Just be Friends Luka, but at the moment, it failed to ring any bells.
Jessica scrutinized the girl's shirt. "SPICE" was displayed in capital lettering, and she knew it was probably a reference to the popular Kagamine Len song written by Tourai, also known as Minato-P, the writer of Magnet.
Not sure what to say next, Jessica tried to peer out of an airplane window to see if it was sunny outside. It'd be nice if the first day of her trip was a warm and clear day, although she knew how hot, sticky, and humid the Japan summers could get.
"Erm," Jessica began awkwardly, failing to see properly through the large panes, despite constantly adjusting her dark-purple framed lenses. "Kyou ha tenki ga dou desu ka?"
She couldn't think of anything proper to say and figured small talk would be a good way to go about.

Planes. Planes. PLANES. PLANES. IM ON A PLANE. I-I- DONT LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW, DON'T DO IT!!
Desu-Face buried her face into her parents shoulder, tears formulating at her eyes. She had a really bad deadly fear of being on planes. Just as she'd had a fear of being on boats as well. There were so many bad things that could happen on them. One minute they could be flying, then bam, ocean, explosion.
She felt a pat on her head, then carefully looked up, and out of the window. The beautiful country of Japan coming into view. It was so pretty! She wiped her face off, and stared at it as they approached it. The only reason she'd ever agreed to this was being her parents thought it'd be nice to go to another country.
The whole entire contest wouldn't have been won for her, if one of her stupid friends haven't sent in her entry. She didn't want to even go to Japan, really. Desu-face didn't know any bit of Japanese besides the few greetings, and another few extra things.
She stepped off the plane, immediately taking a moment to hold back a splotch of puke that drew up her throat. She noticed the woman with the board, then walked over, seeing the other contest winners. Her parents went to go talk to those derpy other adults.
The other contest winners, as she hoped not, seemed to be a bit weaboo-ish. Especially the one with the spice shirt. She bit her lip, as she heard a bit of spoken Japanese. Well, this is gonna suck balls.
Desu-face waved, but didn't talk. She was very shy. She at the moment, wore a red and black hoodie, had very long scraggly brown hair, and blue/black glasses. Her hazel eyes looked away, trying to avoid making eye-contact. She was not exactly a people person in the real world, but was an obnoxious beast when she was on the internet. Pretty much like 80% of those on the web.
She put her hands into her stained sweat-pant's pockets, and mumbled, "Hi."
[[THIS SUCKS THIS SUCKS.]]

Chloe stared at the girl talking in Japanese. "YOU SPEAK JAPANESE! So cool! Hi I'm... Zoey..." Chloe responded. She remembered that she entered the contest as Zoey of the age fourteen, because you had to be fourteen to enter. She figured more people would enter in an older age, also she knew she would get caught because she is so short.

Lyme bit her lip and watched as her twin sister, Dzetsu, had asked a question in Japanese. Her pronunciation was great due to Japanese class, but that wasn't the problem. LYME had never taken a single course in her LIFE. In her case it was more of, "Japanese? What's that?" Heck, Lyme didn't even watch much anime.
"Uh, hello, Zoey. Nice to, uh m-m-me, I MEAN MEET you." Lyme had a huge speech impediment of some sort. She was always stumbling over her words, speaking too fast, and mumbling everything she had to say. She bowed slightly(It's a stupid habit of mine. I'm too submissive, I guess.).
Another girl strolled over. She had brown eyes and long brown hair. She also wore glasses and looked almost hidden in her hooded sweater. She looked away and mumbed something.
Being practically deaf and in a crowded environment, Lyme stared blankly for a few seconds and then asked awkwardly, "Huh? What?" She nervously picked at a scab on her cheek. Being with people, especially NOT awkward looking people like her always sent pangs of fear. They'd probably look at the flaky dead skin all over her face and scream.
Gee, most of us are girls. Figures, since Vocaloid seems to be more a girl thing. I bet everyone's going to be fangirling over Spice or Cantarella or any other mainstream song that involves hot guys.

Kagamine Rose sighed, she loved planes and tried to look as calm as possible but that was on the inside, on the outside she was like very very excited."Oh my gosh, oh my gosh! This is soo freaking cool~! I have never ridden a plane before! Planes are so awesome!"she yelled, and some people turned to her as if she was crazy.
SHe got that alot anyway. She didn't really care, soon enough she got off the plane and collected her bags, she was glad her fanfic made it, she loved to type, or well write stories. She was amazed that she finished at least one. She was also so happy that she got to go to Japan. She loved Japan! It was her favorite place in the world! Other than her home. Wait scratch that! Japan was her number one place.
Kagamine Rose ran a hand through her shoulder length, black hair and fixed her black glasses. It complimented her dark skin color, which was in between a mix of chocolate and caramel. Like milk chocolate but not that dark, lighter. She was wearing a black hoodie, that was a size too big and a form fitting tee shirt that said 'If you think I'm crazy you should see my sister' in capital letters and bright colors, purple skinny jeans that were a bit faded at the knees and blue sneakers.
She saw the sign and excitedly ran over, but not before tripping over her suit case and skidding on the ground, Kagamine Rose got up quickly and glared at the ground before getting her cheery face back on and completing her run over to the group. It was a bunch of girls, they all were so pretty."Hello! Name's Chan-Chan! Well my nickname anyway. But I would like for you all to call me Rose! I absolutely love that name!"she smiled excitedly.
Some would call her eccentric or crazy and weird but that was just how she was."Also, who might you all be!?,"she smiled brightly. She loved meeting new people, she hoped to get alot of friends, well alot of close friends that she could depend on.

((i promise, Chloe did accept i could join!! ready for the name reveal...)) A girl looked around her, taking an ear bud out of her ear, and pausing her old original DS. She had been on planes various times before...but never one this loud! It seemed they had one girl too excited to know what to do, and one who was scared. She shrugged and went back to her game. She reached a hand up and let her hair loose, running her hand through her shoulder length caramel and blond streaked hair, letting it frame her face, and obscure her silver and green eyes (meh, they're gray...). She noticed the turbulation that signified landing and turned off her Ds and ipod. She, on the inside, was so excited! She was chosen to go to Japan for her 'award-winning' fanfiction. She didn't even think it was that good! But, when do you ever think it's good? The plane landed, and Catherine stretched her legs. She was wearing her black lace up kombat boots. Her green cargo pants were tucked into them. Her shirt was a special one, a present from her sister, a black shirt with Rin and Len and the words 02, Kagamine. A dark green jacket covered her (after all, it WAS cold!) and a hat was laying beside her bag. She took her first steps on Japanese soil and smiled. Heaven! That's what it was! She strolled over to the large sign that said CONTEST WINNERS . A small group of girls had already amassed. Catherine swallowed and tried to be sociable. "Hey! Who else can't believe this!" She said, waving a tan-from-the-sun hand. She turned to 'chan-chan'. "Hey, nice to meet'cha! Catherine!" the girl said, backpack slung across one shoulder and suitcase trailing her. She just couldn't wait for this to all begin!

Jessica pulled her lips into a tight smile. It seemed that only girls had bothered with this contest, but it was hardly expected that any males would join a VOCALOID centered fanfiction-writing event anyways.
"Well," Jessica replied to a short girl who introduced herself as Zoey. "I've taken it in class before.... And I was kind of hoping for an answer."
She glanced around at the others. No one seemed to have understood what she had asked, but that was okay too. Jessica assumed from the speaking style and hyperactive natures of the fellow victors that they weren't all meeting the required age of fourteen.
As "Chan-chan" and another girl, presumably a Len fangirl judging from the Kagamine designed shirt, joined the group, Jessica turned her back towards the group, not wanting to participate in any conversation.
"My grandma's name is Rose," Jessica lazily threw into the air. "And she's very annoying."
With that, the sixteen year old Chinese-Canadian stalked a few steps away, fingering the DS Lite in her left pocket and clutching her suitcase.
As she stood apart from them, Jessica examined Catherine the Cold. She was bundled up with long pants and lace-up boots, plus a thick jacket and her black Kagamine twin themed shirt. No doubt this girl would have trouble later on in the stifling heat of a Japanese summer, but Jessica decide to zip her lips and let the girl figure that out on her own.

Lyme gave up all attempts at polite conversation and pretended to be extremely interested in a sign that was hung somewhere in the airport. She couldn't understand a single word. The only thing she recognized was "ma" in hiragana. She was doomed for every bit of kanji.
Dasoku's voice came on in Lyme's headphones. He was singing May 11. Lyme fought herself from squealing and made sure her headphones were firmly placed upon her head. She had to absorb every aspect of Dasoku's beautiful voice.

Chloe zoned out on what Jessica said and looked around. The man holding the sign ignored Jessica, how rude... Chloe looked over at Desu-Face and smiled. "Hello! I'm Zoey!" she said to Desu-Face. Chloe smiled at the girl that seemed to be older than her.
Chloe looked at the man who was holding the sign, he looked at his watch and glanced towards the gates. Chloe returned to the girl and smiled. "What is your name?" she asked.

Desu-face was just sitting there, staring at the ground, to where her hair fell into her face. She used her very long hair to hide herself. Like.. a protective mechanism. She heard somebody approaching, and nearly jumped out of her skin.
"Oh, er.. hello.." She mumbled rather slowly, before looking up to face the girl. Desu-face studied Zoey's features. She seemed younger, of course, maybe not by much. She had rather pretty eyes! But Desu-face reminded herself not to be intimidated.
"Oh uh! I don't want to tell you my name.. so..er.. call me Koi!" Desu-face decided, nodding her head. She was doing her best to avoid eye contact, due to her shyness, but only occasionally glanced up.

Kagamine Rose narrowed her eyes at Jessica for a second before smiling, yes she was under fourteen and was indeed twelve, but who cared. She smiled and dug her hands in her pocket and smiled brightly at the group. "So, Koi, Zoey, and Cathrine? KK, Zo-Zo, and Cat! That's what I'm going to call you all!"she smiled and pulled hand out flashing a thumbs up to go with her smile.
She was glad to finally be in Tokyo it would be fun! Really really fun. She couldn't wait to see all the sights!

Forgetting the presence of human beings--as what usually happened--Lyme started to sing softly when Dasoku's version of Ama no Jaku started. She smiled to herself and mouthed every word.
To pass the time, she started to people watch. Some foreigner with a large suitcase was desperately dragging himself off. And young child was crying, and her mother picked her up and patted her back. Oh, how lovely it was to watch others do their daily, or more of airport, business.

Catherine turned to Rose, grimacing.
"Please...if you have to use a nickname...IF, please, KitCat!" She said, looking around. It was a pretty disfunctional group.
"So...who's your favorite vocaloid?" She asked, adjusting her hair back into a bun. She wasn't sure what else to do, and seeing as it was a VOCALOID fanfiction contest, surely they all liked it..right? God, what had she gotten herself into!? She tried to keep composure, and wished she could be anywhere but here! Socialize! In a foreign country! Gah!
She took a couple deep breaths, about 10 emotions crossing her face at once. She relaxed and opened here eyes waiting for a response. It seemed one of them could at least speak japanese...
(idk...srry!)
