(maybe that works...)
Name- Ebony Tsukino
Age- 19
Gender- female
Sexual Oreintation- straight
Rank- fan made
Appearance-
She’s a tad shorter than most girls *cough cough*. Her hair is messily layered, thick and very long. She trims it every now and then because of the split ends but also to make it grow faster (she has it so long in order to make her head feel really heavy so that she can cut it all off in one go so she can experience the ‘freedom’ and ‘light-headedness’ of not having such long hair… when people ask why she doesn’t just cut it off now, her answer is simply that the more she endures, the more she can appreciate.) It’s… let’s make it pink. Her eyes are dark and somewhere between a red and purple.
As for her fashion sense, she usually prefers to go out in a t-shirt and a pair of jean shorts but when the occasion demands it, she’s quite happy to wear a dress but for some reason that she doesn’t even know, she loathes wearing skirts. She also likes to wear a moustache bobby-pin in her hair. When she feels like it, she’ll wear a cupcake necklace. She doesn’t mind wearing make-up but she absolutely despises lipstick. She does though, enjoy it when people put make up on for her. She finds it to be a very relaxing process.
Fitness-wise, Ebony… well she isn’t as fit as she used to be. Ever since she entered high school, she had ceased playing most sports so the only fitness she ever did was compulsory to the school- PE and school sports days. She’s lucky that she has fast metabolism because she does have a big appetite and rarely does exercise unless she really has to.
Personality-
…okay, her personality, I think, can be quite complicated so I’m going to have to write this in some special way but here goes…
First and foremost, Ebony is indecisive and contradictory (and she doesn’t have the best of attitudes).
When there’s a vote for something (unless she’s decided something from the beginning) she won’t put up her hand up for ‘yes’ or ‘no’ or even when they ask for people who ‘don’t know’. When people are asking for different peoples opinions, she’ll just say that she doesn’t mind so whether she ends up in a predicament or not is really her fault because she couldn’t make up her mind. A major thing she does though is when she has two or more things to choose from (usually food) she’ll do ‘eenie-meenie-miney-moe’ and when she uses that method to get a random one, she’ll suddenly decide that that one isn’t the one she wants and pick another one. When she’s got something to work on, if she likes it, she will give it her all but if she doesn’t, she’ll usually just leave it and work on it at the last minute.
Secondly, her mood also varies depending on who’s with her and where she is. In other words, she tried to change the way she acts to “suit the mood”.
Out in public with friends: She tends to feel more lively around people she likes and can be made out to be a bit crazy and hyper (thus, if she’s ever lost in a large place with lots of people, she’s easy to find because they only need to ask around for a ‘crazy, hyper midget’ or something of the like). Despite this, she still tries to take care to be polite to others (like when they’re at a shop- ‘pleases’ and ‘thank yous’ at the very least are a must for her- it’s just the way she was brought up) and sometimes it just comes instinctively without realizing.
Out in public by herself: she’s calmer and respectful. She takes care to be polite to all she meets.
At home with a friend: she’s obviously calmer, talks more quietly and has a much more intellectual demeanor. She enjoys deep and meaningful conversations.
At home alone: she is seen to be anti-social as she tends to lock herself up in her room and will be busy doing whatever she feels like doing, whether it be drawing, writing or whatever the hell else she feels like doing. She can be very temperamental when interrupted at home to do other things. When at home she prefers to be left alone.
Meeting new people: she’s rather shy and awkward around strangers and if the situation calls, she will laugh a lot though that’s mostly due to nervousness.
Thirdly, despite being seen as a crazy, hyper person in other people’s eyes or a happy little vegemite, she sometimes has a rather negative and depressing outlook on the world. When something bad happens, she tends to have a mindset that it’s going to be that way forever even when she knows better than to think that way. She tries to hide when she’s feeling down, not because she doesn’t want to bother anyone, but simply because it annoys her when people crowd her and ask annoying questions like “are you alright?” or “what’s wrong?” when she’s in a low mood, she tends to become self-loathing.
When someone suddenly mentions it, she suddenly becomes vey self-conscious about her height or when she’s completely surrounded by people who are way taller than her.
She doesn’t have a short temper or anything but you can tell when she’s pissed because everything she does seems to look strained and she has this really stiff smile. When she’s mad, she also has random spurts of violence (in year 6 she -ehem- discreetly stabbed the boy next to her with a pen for being a bitch to her all year… Twice). She grew out of the more violent tendencies over time but she does still have a habit of punching or slapping peoples arms. In other words, her violence is more ‘good natured’ and ‘playful’.
I think I forgot to mention that she can be very hypocritical at times… unfortunately. She’s fun enough to get along with if you’re on her good side. If you’re on her bad side she’ll still be nice to you but she’ll ignore you most of the time.
Likes: chocolate, toffee, dare iced coffee, singing, hanging out with friends, sushi, ice-cream, her moustache bobby-pin, her cupcake necklace, massages, her solitude at home, not being interrupted, prefers to be around self reliant people but if it’s in an area she knows a lot about she’s usually happy to help, listening to music,
Hates: people mentioning her height, photo day (because they always made people line up from shortest to tallest so she’s glad that she’s out of school so she never has to do it again), taking formal photos, chilies, bitter melon, everything about herself when she’s feeling down… well she hates everything when she’s feeling down, whatever’s making her feel down, having the weight of having to choose between two things (I’d hate to see her in the middle of a love triangle), being interrupted while in the middle of doing something she considers important aka anime, writing, drawing or listening to music.
Most of the time, Ebony is a thinker rather than a doer but when she’s excited or on a sugar/coffee high, she rarely stops to think.
Okay, that was really long, but I did say that she had a complicated personality… or maybe the way I wrote it was too confusing but to be fair, I did try to make it clear.
Role-play Sample-
It was to the movies today. Ebony had arrived nearly half an hour early and was feeling excited to say the least but the feeling of anticipation in the pit of her stomach wouldn’t leave her the hell alone. To try and relieve some of the tension, she decided to go inside and purchase her ticket.
Ebony began to regret walking into the cinema on her own. There was merchandise which she could purchase everywhere and worst of all, they were food. She began to feel saliva build up in her mouth but she smacked her cheeks lightly a few times and concentrated on ignoring one of the few things that mattered to her in life. she was there to simply watch a movie with her friends. She would go to a cheap shop later on and buy all the food she wanted and still not empty out her wallet. After all, she only got so much pay at work.
Poor Ebony looked like a robot, the way she was stiffly walking over to the cash register.
It was a little under a few minutes and she had managed to buy her ticket and not run her purse dry. She wasn’t really paying attention to what was going on around her because she was trying to not make eye contact with any of the ice-creams that were clawing at the glass of the freezer of the popcorn that was leaping out of the machine in a fruitless attempt to get to her so when the man at the counter said “Enjoy the movie” she replied automatically with a “You too…”
-oh yay a little time skip isn’t this fun I always like time skips-
They were all chatting away excitedly when they exited the cinema. Ebony was nodding in agreement and laughing at a quote from the movie that a friend had quoted word for word and was even going out of her way to make similar actions and facial expressions.
“Yeah!” she piped up, giggling still. “and that time when he was like…” her next words were lost when they opened the doors to the exit and the roar of the traffic and the like drowned out the sound of her voice. Her friend still managed to catch on with what she had been trying to say though and burst into a new round of laughter but soon drifted off to chat with the others.
Ebony felt a slight pang of rejection when she left and was unsure if she should follow her friend or just hang on the side of the group. She felt really awkward about being clingy and decided on the latter. She popped several skittles in her mouth and chewed, shuddering as she had forgotten, once again, how sour they actually were.
She felt more content now though. Food would never reject her- of that she was sure. She was also starting to feel the effects of the sugar now. Soon enough, she would probably start giggling like a lunatic and would be talking so fast, everything she said probably wouldn’t be understood by anyone else there. Never the less, they would all be enjoying themselves.
Everyone had decided on going to the park after the movies and it wasn’t long until they had arrived there. When they did, some of them automatically plopped onto the ground and were demanding that the others do to so they wouldn’t be ‘lonered’.
Ebony was the last to do so but before she did, she hollered something about being the tallest for once and marveling how awesome it was to be able to look down on people. it wasn’t long though before one of her mates ‘zapped’ her in the waist, which in response, she let out a short shriek and dropped to the ground.
Ebony was in a good mood that day though, so she’d laughed it off (like a psychopath mind you) with the others and downed some more skittles.
… I think I wrote too much… hope I didn’t bore anyone… but is this the kind of person people could stand to rp with?
Code- regurgitated lemon tuna tarts
…I wish I was able to come up with random things like that.
